Anxious To Get My 1St Fill...

I was banded August 22 and my doctor said I had to wait 6 weeks. This is the longest six weeks ever. I am hungry a lot and am ready to start seeing this work. I lost 26 pounds on the pre-op and post op diet. I have gained 5 back since I started food. So frustrating!!!

    Wondering What Is Wrong.

I feel better hearing that. I went to the pre-made stuff and I liked Muscle Milk and also the EAS Myoplex Lite. It was so much easier than the powder mix with milk. I just went from not getting anything down to feeling like it wasn't there. Thanks bunches!!!!
  5. I think I posted this awhile ago on another site. Wasn't sure if I was doing it right. I have just had my surgery a week ago on Wednesday. I came home with little pain, just tired from the anesthesia, but surgery was great. Thursday and Friday I didn't get much down. By Saturday, I hadn't been able to get a full protein shake down, but the little that I did felt stuck. I kept gagging and clear fluid kept comming up but it wasn't like I was throwing up hard. (I know.... kinda gross)... This happened on Sunday also. This happened around 5 times. Everyone has told me to make sure that I don't throw up or my band will slip. Monday, I didn't feel full at all so I am worried that it might have slipped. Others that have had bands said that my stomach was healing and that I wouldn't feel full all the time. I guess I am just paranoid, because I am hungry now and I haven't been before. I have followed the nutritionist's directions as she said, except for the amount of protein I am able to take in. OK.... making a long story short. Does anyone else feel hungry after just a week and get paranoid that it isn't working. I want that feeling of tightness back. Or is this normal???
