i can handle uncomfortable but i'm a big baby when it comes to pain. so that makes me feel better

i haven't heard of any but i know companies that specialize in Bariatric nutrition have cookies loaded with protein therefore making it seem a little less guilty

i had a really hard time with my pre-op diet. i followed the rules. but only lost 9 lbs of the 12 i was suppose to. my dr almost didn't do it. but he came in asked me what was going on and decided to still do the surgery and my liver was perfect! i don't think a little ranch will hurt you. it's actually a healthy fat unless you eat it by the gallon (gross) i think you will be great.

mine is on the right about 4 in under my breast

my journey wasn't that easy mine has took over 6 months. So when i got banded on the 10th i was more than ready! just breath, relax, it's not so band and just remember this is the beginning of a new and healthier life!

you and i have the same surgery date I'm down 7 lbs from day of surgery what happened at you appointment. i don't go in till next week

that's where you need to be careful if food is an addiction of yours you will naturally turn to something else. i would recommend a 12 step program to help you learn better coping skills.

i had 3 appointments 1st was just talking to therapist and going over back ground both myself and family. and the 2nd was two tests that i had to take and the 3rd was the results. i found it very educational. be honest with all your answers and you will be fine. and just remember most importantly they aren't there to deny you. they are there to make sure that you will be successful with the band.

my dr said no straw's because of the air. i think i am getting more air sipping from a cup without a straw than with one.

today was my Surgery and honestly I was scared to death he wouldn't perform the surgery because I was only able to loose 9 lbs instead of 12 on the pre-op diet. but after talking he agreed to do it. the surgery went well the doctor found a Hiatil Hernia in the process and fixed it. I think that hurts more than the band does. the Co2 gas is killing me! I'm trying to move around as much as possible but I'm so uncomfortable. And lying down makes to worse. I've gotten down one shake and my fluids. Not sure how sleep will go.
