I will have my band a year aug 23rd. I have lost 102 pounds. Which is great. I just don't eat much at all or I throw it up..for example one chicken nugget. I am only able to eat one or two bites of food unless its stuff I shouldn't be eating. Like chips.. The last fill I had was in January. Is my band too tight or is this normal?

Thats great! Keep up the good work. I was banded on the 23rd. I havent weighed in a few days, I was driving myself crazy doing it everyday. Went thru a few days of no weight loss. I have just started eating more regular soft food. Had a little salmon today. I stopped before I felt full. Are you diabetic? Maybe thats why you need some real food. Potato soup is great. Try some salmon though. I bought the frozen ones and broiled it. Good luck on your journey!

Thanks for all the suggestions. It hurts the most when I am laying or sitting down, Guess I will be standing alot more until the pain goes away.

I was banded 17 days ago. Surgery was fine. Ever since surgery I have had a lower back crampy pain. As of yesterday it is really bad! It feels like the pain when you slept on it wrong but a bad case of it. It hurts to move. Anyone have this. I do not have pain medicine but could use some. Or a idea for over the counter medicine. Using a heating pad but not helpful.

Can someone explain the vagal nerve? I have seen it mentioned here a few times. Googled it but I guess I dont understand. I am 2 weeks banded and since then have always had chest pain.

Back pain here also! Banded on the 23rd. Mine is lower back pain. I read that I may not be drinking enough but I feel like thats all I do.

Also try malt o meal. Real good and fills you up. Great in the morning.

I had my surgery done on the 23rd, I have that same feeling in my chest. It is alot better today. Even though it hurts to sit up, just try to a little bit, may relieve the pain.

And these shakes feel you up?
-
Thats kind of what I was thinking. I think being on the liquid diet for so long will get our stomach use to what we have been eating, so maybe anymore then that you will feel full. I know my doc office said alot of people come back for their first fill not feeling any different, or even gaining wait. This part is to get us use to eating better things for us. I think you have a little fluid in the band right now, so maybe you wont eat as much when you switch to normal food.

I was just told nothing over 20 pounds for lifting. Mainly watch what you eat and how fast so you dont throw it up to cause a slippage.

Yes shakes also. How could I forget
