thanks for the inspiration. just what I needed to see tonight. Very frustrsted. I am almost 4 months out and lost total of 45 lbs. I know I should be doing more for exercise but geez shouldn't i loose a couple more lbs. a month at least. Seems like I go 2 or 3 weeks with nothing thn loose 2 then another 3 weeks and then another 1 or 2...It can't be possible to eat hardly anything and not use better than this.

me too. get it first thing in the am with even a sip of water. Have to take my pills first thing when i get up before anything else.

WOW John so sorry to hear this story and all that happened to you. Will pray God gives you the strength to get through it all, and heals you quickly.

hi there. I was feeling the same exact wat last week. I am 5 weeks out tomorrow, and have been at a stall for 2 weeks now. The scale FINALLY moved this morning, and I dropped another 2. Very frustrating, but hear it's normal. Hang in there it will come.

put egg into boiling water for 3 minutes, that's it. be careful not to crack shell. i run min under tap water a couple minutes so it's not real cold when putting in water. good luck

well I have heard you all talking about stalls, but now i believe I am also experiencing one myself. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated. How can we possibly only be eating 3 oz. of food and not have the scale move in over 10 days? It just makes no sense to me. even tonight at dinner my hubby said "I can't believe the weight isn't just falling off of you with the little amt. you are eating." How long does it take to start loosing or did I do this for a darn 25 lbs total? I surely hope not. Please help!

So glad to hear it happened to others. when I was in the hospital I was drenched. They came in to do my vitals and thought I had a high fever, but was normal just drenched. Had to change everything. Continued every night for almost 2 weeks. Talked to the doc during my 2 week check and he said he'd never heard of it before. weird!

anyone else having problems with constipation? I haven't gone in almost a week since starting pureed foods. if so what did you take? I am thinking of eating some activia today and if no results calling dr tomorrow. Any suggestions?

ended up calling dr today and he said to take 2 TBLS. of milk of Mag. finally had relief....Hopefully scale will now start moving again!

i went down morning after surgery for leak test.. On clear liquids for two weeks, and will change to pureed this tues. at 1st post op apt. for 2 weeks then progress to soft for 2 weeks. Good Luck

Well just got home after 3 days in hospital. Had awful time with the neausea. Meds helped a lot and slept a lot. Got home showered weighed myself and gained weight....Not what I wanted to see. On a good note I came home off am diabetes meds. Hope this was worth doing to myself. A little confused right now.

Yay it's finally here. Need to be at hospital at 7:45 am and surgery at 9:45. Can't wait till it's over and can start my new life.Best of Luck to all the others having surgery also tomorrrow.!

i definetely believe in the power of prayer...I am not scared at all as I know i'm in good hands and Jesus is with me. this is the only way I am getting through this. I start liquids this coming friday and surgery is wed. the 23rd....we CAN do this..Good Luck

wow i was under the impression there was no dumping with the sleeve. It is the bypass that you get it with.I wonder why it's happening to you both? So sorry...

i just got back from the store myself, being sleeved on the 23rd, but found some no sugar added lemon ice, s f popsicles, and i heard the progresso tomato basil Soup is really good, so i got 1 of those to try. also apple juice and low sodium chicken broth. Hope this helps..

wow you are doing fantastic...welcome to the site. I check in here every nt. and am getting all my courage from here. I am being sleeved on the 23rd, and am starting to get a little nervous abo0ut starting liquids next friday, but sounds like its going to be ok. I only hope I will do as well as you and the others have..Awsome job, keep up the great work!
