Ok so here we go. My name is Sondra. I am 30yrs old and had my surgery in July of 2008. It was an awesome and speedy recovery. My surgeon had great bedside manners and was perfect all around. But I was in a severe car accident in Dec. of 2009. I broke both feet, left leg, and right arm. Along with fracturing my neck and spine. I was in the hospital and rehab till May of 2011. I had 17 surgeries and will most likely still need more. Due to the fact that I was required to stay in bed and completely immobile, I have had to learn how to walk all over again and gained all my weight back. They removed my fluid bc they said they feared my body shutting down and etc. So I guess u could say I stretched my stomach. So bc of all the vitamins and meals I was required to eat and no exercise bc of all the metal I had sticking outside of my body thats why my weight returned. I'm barely learning how to walk and doing physical therapy but its not enough for me to loose the weight. I have my fluid back but nothing. I'm hungry and still eat as if its not there it just slowly gets stuck. I dont know what to do. I need any suggestions. Because not only do I want to be thin for risk of diabetes or wanting to be thin. But it would make my therapy progress so much easier for me and less strenuous. I want to be able to do things with and for my family and myself.
