Thank you guys. I think I'm going to ROCK the small stuff for a while especially when I go back to work. It sounds like its all about behaviors and getting a grip on the new ways! Thank you guys

I am also grateful for the 6 month pre-diet. The food relationship changes and you get used to trying things a new way and with WAY LESS CARBS! I actually gone up and down a pound or too. Mostly, my Doc has said that the insurance company is hopping that your burn out in the 6 months and don't finish the process so the company doesn't have to pay. Stick with it. Try new Protein stuff in the food section here, it's help me branch out my protein/food options. Cheers

My doc has said that the pre-op diet just makes people miserable. Just keep involved with support groups and stay focused on you diet afterwords and fluids.

I have also been told that Extracts of items also help. From Almond to Vanilla, so many options to add to thigs. Plus, get a chicken from the store and after your fam eats it.. making your own homemade broth custom helps too. I too get tired of the sugar free, so extracts help.

It's weird how every doctor is different. My doc said the pre-op diet just makes people miserable and more irritable come surgery day. She said every little bit helps but most of all to stay positive before surgery and remember, its a tool afterwards. Best of Luck ...Cheers

Well! I have made it. I am finally getting my BAND on Feb 14th. Wahoo! I am so ready. This has been a 1 year process! I can't wait to get this done! How long is everyone taking off of work? Best Success Wishes to All of us Feb Bansters

I feel all your pain. My last appointment was sep 20th. I called my office 3 weeks later, I called and they said they submitted the paperwork to my insurance. I have called my insurance 3 times and they say that they still have not received my paperwork. I had to get new fax number for my insurance to call back my Doc's office to fax the paperwork. I am so lost at this point! It's been 2 months since my last and final appointment and I feel like we are not any closer to a date This is so hard and frustrating!

so far i have only used the PB2 and PB2 chocolate in protein drinks. How else is everyone else using them? Any new ways or recipes?

I think the toes thing is too true. Agreed with thigh rubbing, cloth shopping and the bed room boom boom to be more spontaneous. There are so many things that I look forward to. Collar bones, upper arms that don't wave back at people and being able to cross my legs again. So many different things. Cant wait for all the changes.

I was one of the lucky one's who's insurance requires a 6 month diet tracking with a nutritionist. I started this process in 01/12 with the consult, 02/12 to get the Doctor, 03/12 we started the nutritionist meeting, the therapist and food logs. I just finished the 6 months and NOW it's time for my office to submit the paper work to my insurance for the approval for surgery. I originally thought that I was going to be an October Bander, but now, I have no idea what to expect on when, or even if I will be approved. This is probably the most insecure that I have felt this whole process! This part sucks. I wish I had a date to at least feel comfort in the waiting process. UGH!

My doc recommended the juicy, but frozen into pop's for after surgery. That way you get the protein and the taste good too. I hear the liquid is pretty thick but the powdered protein is good too. You can also try Matrix Mint Cookie and cream or Costco's protein too. Both are awesome!
