I have been very fortunate not to have much loose skin. I use skin firming lotion daily but not sure if it actually helped anything. I think genetics is the biggest factor.

You're doing awesome!!

You can do it!! No matter how sore you are in the morning work through the next workout. You will feel better after working out even if you are extremely sore. It does get better and soon you will be amazed at how much better you do on each workout and the results you see. As for sore muscles try stretching a little more but the best thing is to just rest and do it again tomorrow. You'll probably be sore for a good week but it's that good I kicked some butt sore. Be proud of yourself every time you wince from the pain. (I did Insanity twice and loved it)

That's so awesome!! Congrats!

Before and after pics are EXTREMELY helpful. When you start to feel down it shows us what we cannot see in the mirror. Don't let your hatred of cameras keep you from doing it. You will regret not taking them.

I recently finished the insanity workout program. Although I could FEEL my cloths fitting better I was having a hard time SEEING the progress in the mirror. The workouts are tough and I love it. I plan on repeating the whole program. Here are my results... Proof that exercise can help reshape your body as you are losing as well.

If you are feeling normal hunger your band is likely empty. I had 5cc put in at surgery and wasn't that hungry at all after surgery. I think my first fill was around 4 months. Each surgeon is different. Do your best to stay in your calories and have faith in the fill process. You will get there.

I tell everyone. But I also include the fact that I track my calories, don't eat a lot of carbs and workout 6 days a week. I believe that part of the misconceptions people have is we keep quiet and act like we didn't have help. Yes I had surgery but I could easily sabotage my progress by eating around my band. I wonder how many people know someone who lost a large amount if weight "naturally" but in reality they had surgery. That's just my two cents. I confidently share it all and if they don't like it they can kiss my a@@???œ I'm probably healthier than they are anyway lol

I use a heart rate monitor because I do DVD programs. I found MFP overestimated the calories burned by a lot. Mine is not waterproof but I think they make some. I use a polar chest band and watch.
