Checking in for this week at 219.8!! Broke the 20s...I'm so excited! That's 2.9 for the week :-)

I say go for it. It's the best decision I have ever made and I finally feel like I am in control of my weight loss. I wish I had done it sooner.

Jen- I totally understand where you are coming from. Our past deprivation diets were what caused us to be unsuccessful and eventually regain the weight because to us that is not living. I too am looking for that grey area where I can just live life and enjoy food within the boundaries of my band. I have found that I can make better choices at restaurants and at home now. That mentality if I can't have this or that is gone. It's a great feeling. For the first time it truly feels like a lifestyle change. Congrats on conquering your favorite restaurant

This morning I got out of the shower to my 2 year old awake and needing to potty. I normally put my bathrobe on but was too lazy so I wrapped the towel around myself. To my amazement the towel actually wrapped around enough to be tucked on and it stayed on!! I love all these small reminders that I am changing :-)

You can add me too! Goalseeker32 I love that app :-) I used to HATE tracking my food now I'm addicted lol

Oops! Forgot to check in. I'm down 1.6 lbs to 222.7 :-)

I use the Xbox Kinect to workout. It has a recognition feature that signs you in. Well the last few weeks it wasn't signing me in. Then it dawned in me...maybe it doesn't recognize me! I reprogrammed the ID and now it's working fine. The XBOX DIDN'T RECOGNIZE ME!! Lol

That wii fit board is mean. I remember getting on and it took my avatar and added 50 lbs. rude!! Lol

I had the same exact thing happen to me. I went in 2011 and was told I was 5 pounds too light, insurance wouldn't cover it. They told me to come back in 6 months if nothing worked. I tried weight watchers again over the course of the next year and was still at the same weight. So when I went back I ate a HUGE burrito and drank a TON of liquids, wore my heaviest outfit and just barely made the BMI requirement. Good Luck! I know it is frustrating.

Welcome Cindy! I was banded 9/4/12. I feel great! I haven't had any complications. I was a little sore after surgery but the pain was nothing to how I felt after giving birth I just reached two months I am down 26.8 since my surgery date an have lost more than 16 inches off my body. This band was the BEST THING I EVER DID!!! I wish I had done it sooner The fears you have are normal. We all have some form of them. You just have to use your band as the tool it is. It's not magic, you still have to make good choices and remember the eating rules, small bites, chew well, Protein first. Good Luck on your journey. This is a great place for support and advice.
