Need some motivation please
goalseeker replied to gloriadiaz1's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Honey you lost 54 pounds!!! That is definitely NOT unsuccessful!! Hang in there if you're in the green zone you should be able to make the right choices and start losing more. Try changing things up and don't deprive yourself ALL the time. I feel like it is very important to allow ourselves to have a treat here and there so we don't feel deprived. This is a lifestyle change and even with the sleeve you have to make the same changes to find success. You've done great so far!!! Please don't give up. -

That is incredible!! It is definitely not bragging...It is sharing with people who understand what a big deal it is. It is encouraging others who are just beginning because they want to hear those things too. It is WONDERFUL!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! :D :D -
I buy those. They are some of the best tastin I have tried and pretty low in calories considering how much protein they have.

I love dance central too! I also use the UFC fitness trainer game. I did the one month program and lost 2.75 inches in my waist that month. I was shocked at the results. I have also used and liked the EA sports active 2 game.

We were at my mother in laws this weekend and she babysat the kids so my hubby and sister in law and I could walk around the little shops downtown. We went into a little boutique that has some really cute clothes. They had nothing over size L. I was able to fit into almost everything AND I walked away with five adorable tops! I haven't shopped in a store like that in a decade. Oh boy... look out here i come :-)

overnight stay & leaving children, plus DH reaction
goalseeker replied to MooseShell's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am sure your son will be fine. You have a whole month to wean him. I'm sorry to hear your DH hasn't reassured you with kind words. I am sure he does feel that way but some men don't know how to express themselves well. I have to say that life after the band has been awesome. I feel so much better and have much more energy to keep up with my 3 and 4.5 year old girls. It is a definite commitment to changing the way you eat and exercise and the way you interact with food. It is a tool not a quick fix. (You're gonna read that a lot here) Make sure that YOU are ready to make these changes because only you will be responsible for your success. Good luck and I hope you can find the excitement in this journey. It is definitely a tough one but well worth the outcomes -
That's wonderful!! Congrats!

anyone here did/is doing the couch to 5k program?
goalseeker replied to Lapbandster's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I started using the C25K app and got through week 4. Well the app crashed on me one day so I downloaded a new one and the timer was WAY off. In strafing of me running 3 min walk 1.5 run 5 min walk 2.5 the damn thing had me running 5 min then 8 min. After that I decided I would just go out and run without the app and was able to do 2.5 miles. I upped it each time and now I do 3.1 miles each time I run. It's a great app and program. -
