I did this and us great results. I'm doing a second round and am almost done with phase one. Great workout but very intense. Just do what you are capable of, rest when you need it and don't give up. I posted a progress pic on a tread called finished insanity (I think thats what it's called). Good luck and have fun!!

The Difference a Band Makes

Way to go! You look fabulous! -
There is a big difference. Congrats! Definitely keep taking pics and comparing them even month to month you will be amazed. It has really helped me to see the difference when the mirror starts lying to me

I haven't done p90x but insanity is "supposed" to be tougher. It is meant for results in 60 days rather than 90 days. You can figure about an hour each day for insanity. Again I don't know the specifics on p90x. Also insanity doesn't use any pull up bars or equipment while I believe p90x does

My guess is its probably meant to tone your butt to look amazing in those Brazilian cut bottoms. I'm sure it's LOTS of squats and lunges.

WHAT!!! I exercised 4x last week and gained 5 pounds! I hate this!
goalseeker replied to OldMomOf3's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I always gain when I start a new program. Don't forget that so many factors effect our daily weight. If your muscles are sore they will retain Water and as you workout you will go through phases where you replace fat with muscle. Firing these phases you may see the difference in clothing and inches rather than the scale. Remember that one pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. And as you build more muscle you'll boost your metabolism. I have been working out consistently for 7.5 months now and I am a smaller size at a higher weight because of my muscle tone. Keep it up and you'll reap the rewards. -

Just keep working out. As you work out your muscles will loosen up and you'll actually feel better after working out through the soreness. -

You can do it!! Fight through the soreness and you'll feel better. I was your weight when I started

I don't think it will effect your band at all. I would just be careful about your scars and how they might be effected by the rays.

Insanity is an interval training dvd workout program. No weights involved. Just your body weight and a lot of sweat. If you google it I'm sure a video will come up or at least their website.
