    I Suck at Dieting!!!

    Wow wish they would put the band in my head ever week or so I can stop thinking and eatting. Iam a year out..I dont keep anything bad in the house so the most I do is over eat yogurt but in the course of the day in can be alot of calories even on good food. This all started when I had to have the band emptied twice and worked my way up but it never was the same. I am up and down 6 lbs and I am happy at this weight but still would like to get to my goal. I am going in for alittle more put in the bsnd and back to the gym (thats been the real problem I think) so I will hang in there.

    need breakfast ideas

    I have veggie burgers and I am a year out..the veggie burger keep me full for a very long time. If I dont watch the time I could forget to eat and then all of a sudden get straving and will grab to much and suffer.

  7. There is a big virus going around that is all pooping...take an anit-diahrra med over the counter it will help. Most of us are constipated so enjoy the weight loss...

    For those who measure...

    I measure and doctor told me even chicken cut up and put in a one cup measureing cup to be sure but I weight it and have 4 oz of meat and 1/4 c of veggie and that does it for me when I am being good. I eat every 4 hours hungary or not that way I don't get very hungery and just grab something. I also make home made chicken veggie soup so if I get extra hungey I can have that and its very little cals. and drink drink drink

    seeking help!

    Therapy is always a good idea and I am with you the sweet tooth gets to me also. I try not to have any in the house but sometimes it isn't easy specially when kids have birthdays. Given all you have been through I can imgine how hard it must have been to be true to yourself and your ban but you have done it. Let us know what the therapist has to say it should help us all.

    Mistake?

    It's not the band that is causing the pain but the fact you body has been through a trama and cut open and it needs time to relax and heal. Even if you had it removed you would feel the same way because have to cut you open again. Get a heating pad, water, broth, shakes and walk as much as you can.any surgery you get cause pain afterwards for days after.....nothing you can do now but work through it and use the suggestion milk of magnisea will get that air moving out and most of the pain will go away with a couple of BM's.

    Banded 9/12/13 & starving

    I made home make chicken broth and drank it everythime I felt hungry then I did creamy soups, Hated the protient drinks drank as much as I wanted till I wasn't hungry and did loss alittle bit but the weight lost came 2 mos after wards and I had some fills..so just heal right now and the next 6 wks. You are learning to eat and drink slowly and drink tons of water then comes food and all this will make more sense.

    Miserable

    Oh honey u are so new get your heating pad drink hot tea very slow;ly and have some milk of magnisum to really soften things up and get the gas out. Any surgery is miserable afterwards but it gets so much better and the weight loss is so worth it. Hang in there sweetie this is the worst part.

    you ave nothing to be disappointed about just keep on keeping on....you didn't get heavy in 5 mos it takes time and plenty of work as you are doing

    If it anit broke don't fix it.. I no reason to do any unnessary surgery and this way I know I will remain true to self..each to his own if it menatal makes you fell better not to have it the don't or just work through the shame...

    good to know my gal just puts in 1 cc and then I sit up and she has me drink to make sure it doesn't get stuck or cause rumbling then I am on my way. I do like to stay close by for an hour just to be sure once I didn't and I was in trouble the next day.

    good but you might take some allergy meds and see how you feel as well as call the doctor it might just be something in the air..worth a try

    Ggrrrrrr HELP!!

    I think of it this way there is 2 me's in my head the one that ate poorly,shamely, and fat for 30+ yrs and now I put a friend in my head that eate very well, exerces, and is proud of who I 'am. It took almost a year toget this new me to be biggerthe the old me (head and body) yesthe old me takes over in times of hight stree and I gained 7 lbs but the new me is back from vacation and we are off and running and its fun again to track food and get on here. So get the junk out of your house and clean a closet before eating my house is getting so clean an organiced....

    I loved oat meal very runny and home made chicken veggie soup very small pieced or blended and did that for months and lost regulary...I have no problem eating the same thing everyday for a long time...chile everyone seems to love

    really needing extra support

    tracking the food every bit is key for me. I stopped and gained 8 lbs I am back to tracking and down a lb today thank God..its tricky you need to plan every bit I eat every 4 hours even if I get hungry before that but I chart that so I can tell the doctor if I see a pattern, then we both know if its head hunger or real hunger and I need a fill.Its much easier to stick to the program in the beginng the "bandaster hell" is a great motivater but after a while you get lazy at least I did when the stress got bad...at least this time I got right on it and no matter what I am doing the work its harder now and I long for the time it hurt to eat but I know better and will do better back to the gym tomorrow that will make a big difference I now know that...good luck and I hope you are able to get to it.....its hard no one will tell you it isn't but it is so worth it really
