line-dancer replied to Giovy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
have never heard of a 6 cc band if that's the case you probla don't need any fills. I have a 10 cc/band with 6.5 cc and I have to remind my self to eat in four hours so I don't get hungry and grab just anything.....good luck cant wait to hear more -

Want to encourage anyone going through "bandster hell"
line-dancer replied to Joy1961's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
wow u have done a great job u should be very proud of your hard work it will even get better very soon. -
are u tracking everything that passes your lips? myfitnesspal many of us use and helps a great deal. Honey, this is your weight, life and money you need to tke a list of questions to ask so you get the most out of your diet and band...Think its missy who has the veido all about the band it would be helpful for your to see that I think...
-
you are eating to much and the wrong things learn how the bsnd works snd WHEN it will work it takes fills that how it works its to early for you so will power and food choices are very important and why aren't you on liquids or mushy only?
-
This is normal for most of us its not you not tring it the band is not full enough for ypur green spot... it took 3 fills for me to get me there and now- its so good. I have a 10cc band with 6.5 cc in it. its normal for you to think it should be working at its best right away but it take time to find what the limit is for you..my doctor would fill every 2 wks after the first one so keep going until you feel great at eating one cup of food for 4-5hours u will do it hang in there
-
I wasn't told that so I just ate the way I felt . for me it is just saline in a band not into my system. See how ypu feel and do what you thinks would be good for u
-
always thought it would be great if the more we eat the thinner we go....oh its nice in my mind some times lol
