Just had an unfill..advice please!
line-dancer replied to NewMissB's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
had a totally unfill today for the same reason u said in your post. Doc said If I throw up once call our band get tight for so many reason so not to think that you been going great for weeks so nothing can get tighter it can and if you have relex or back pain and bra level its the band and call right away. I wont let it go again but I thought I had a stomach virus the kids had but wont do that again..now I have to wait three wks and see how it is. -
on my way to doctor to get a scope I pray I just need a pill and nothing out of the band it has worked so well for 3 mos. thanks for your posts

Friends don't just understand...
line-dancer replied to Karen85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Are your friend over weight? if they are then they are jeoulos that you are doing something positive for yourself. These are not friends or they would be supportive in any wa the by they could be. The know they are hurting you and hope you will give this up and start eating your old way. I go out to eat and have soup after I got the bsnd put in. Now that I am getting near goal people are telling me to stop I am getting to thin but realy I am getting close to there weight but I love it and will keep going weight loss if for me not anyone else. -
Start therapy now its always helpful and it sound like you are in the right place to get a lot out of it. I have been heavy all my adult life but I am enjoying losing weight now and the way I look. I don't let my naked body bother me because I am not planning of showing that off but I am looking great in cloths and line dancer behind me now are liking the view a lot better. Go one day at a time and soon you will be braging ti all of us how your loving the work and the rewards.

line-dancer replied to flrosie's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I agree with the above the beginning is hard but it is so worth it. In 6 mos I am down 60 lbs and every day bless the band for being invented. I had 90 lbs to loss and cant beleive how close to goal I am now. Good choice you made to get the band and I look forward to hearing how you do... -
Stuck after initial great loss!
line-dancer replied to CAngie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
boy if I hadn't loss I would be right in the office asking for help that's what he is there for even if its all in your head. I lost 10 mos from the beginning and 28 lbs from goal. I went throught all this to finally get it down and have a hard time understanding when someone isn't also.. I wish tons of luck and stuck it up and see your doctor, clean out the junk food and track ever bit you will get it down to.. -

People are noticing...and I am anxious!
line-dancer replied to megamomnj's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I tell then explain how the band works specially mentally I never know who I can help with my story. But of course it is personnel for us all and there is plenty of time to share information. great job on you loss isn't it fun to have the work pay off for a change...I love it I am 28 lbs from goal and I have never ever been able to say that b4...I can see the goal line and it is so shinny its like winning a 5k run.... -
it is stiched in and it is not strechy that's why you hear us tslk about being stuck cause the bsnd is pretty firm and to big of bit just sits there cause that area no long stretches out...not to worry but do follow the plan so you heal faster. I know its hard at this stage but it really is for your health and success.
-
your band is under you breast at the bra cup line so the pain cant be from the band. So where is the pain? csll the doctor and see what they say. take a laxative semms if it helps
-
I didn't get out of that feeling until my 3 rd fill and I have been great for 3 mos I have a 10 cc band with 6.5 in it. Sounds to me like you need more in the band.
-
I gain and loss the 3 lbs daily cause you pee and have BM's and gain under 8 lbs is usually water and will float away.

Looking for real Lap Band affects
line-dancer replied to hockeymother's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
if you already have emotion issues u might want to see a therapist first and understand why food means to you it will help in the long run. I felt great but then I have been on meds ( a lot of us are) for years so I was set. -
get a doctor that more supportive..I have lost 60 lbs in 6 mos and very happy if you follow the plan and get enough fills you'll be fine. talk to your doctors about fills if they are to slow with then and u need one then you will be unhappy so folks can go with none other need to fill it half way find out does he put any in at surgery tie how much and how often and how much each time after that.

About to pay the deposit but...
line-dancer replied to Wanna-Be-Healthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
only u know if your ready it h was been the best thing I every did for myself. It is a diet along with the band. Can you clean out your house from the junk food? can you stay on a plan? can you track all your food...if u said yes then you can do it..you have a better chance to losse weight with the bsnd then any other way so do it
