Im also 3 days post op. 23 August 2012. You couldnt be more spot on. I was running around all night in the hospital. i had no pain from surgery. Just horrible gas pressure. And at day three its slightly better but still makes me uncomfortable all day. Purees not so bad. I mixed it with broth and it was tolerable. I find sugar free popcicles help with hunger. Go back Tuesday to get my staples removed. If i could get this gas to a minimum ...life would be wonderful.
