I was banded 12/9/08 and in 2/12 my band slipped. I had all the fluid removed and had to wait 6 weeks for upper gi to find out I needed revision surgery which is tomorrow at 9am. My doctor will be doing plication surgery and replacing my bad . I was severe diabetic and lost 60lbs. Diabetes disappeared but as the band has been deflated for 7 months, I have put on about 15 lbs and my sugars are rising.Current wait 162.8 , 5'3". Hope the plication helps the new band from slipping.
