Ok can somebody help me with this...what else can be done when you have UHC that excludes Bariatric surgery? I know there's self pay and some people go to Mexico but is there any other options?!?! I'm thinking about talking to someone in my HR department but will that even help?!?! I currently have the lapband going on 4years now I've been having problems on and off. I have BCBS-Florida and I was thinking about getting the revision from the band to the sleeve. Well my insurance doesn't pay for any Bariatric surgeries....other than self pay did anyone else have this problem. I'm 18 weeks pregnant with the band and my obgyn says I'm gaining weight too fast. My band had 5 cc I'm currently down to 4 cc I'm afraid if there's too much fill my baby want get the proper nutrition.....please help

Thanks KateP I was having trouble in the 1st trimester and the doctors removed 1cc giving it a total of 4. Since then I haven't had any trouble with the band or eating I'm in my 2nd trimester!!! Lol...it does get hard with all the cravings though

I decided in 2012 that I wanted to be healthy. So I made a BIG step towards it by being dedicated with lots of motivation from myself, family, & friends....so out with the old & in with the new Me & new Year!!!

I went for my 4th fill today but I didn't get one....I follow up every month. So I weighed 299 in April & I went today I weighed 285 a total of 14.5lbs loss. I felt like I needed a fill though...i eat right & go to the gym 4/week....has anyone been at this point?
