Wish me luck guys all of my information was re-submitted to the insurance company today. Of course, I was denied on the 1st time around. So I'm sitting here with my *fingers crossed*. How long do y'all think it will take this time? Should I be a nervous wreck? ???¬

@ Lucy B I'm not going to give up although this process is frustrating going back & forth seeing the different doctors but I know in the end it will be well worth it all...☺ Hopefully I get a date soon

The insurance just said that I was denied because I needed to complete the following criteria which I didn't know.....so I completed the 3 months of weight loss program with supervised doctor, psych & nutrition eval. Along with med clearance from my medical doctor. All those things are done and I have submitted them to the doctors office then to the insurance again.....fingers crossed

Congrats Lamina!!! @ Stephers21 do you have health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. I was denied the first time so I've completed everything that the insurance asked for so I'm waiting on approval.... Fingers crossed

Can anyone tell me exactly what info they want from the weight loss program I attended? Us there a form that has to be filled out? Please help getting discouraged!!!!!

I have finished the weight loss program but the office is not sure what they are suppose to be giving me.....they gave me Progress Tracking Sheet which consist of my attendance, weight, BMI, & waist. Then I was given a written note saying that I was a candidate for bariactric surgery.....is there something else I need before submitting this

Thamm, I could really use a friend right now that has been through it already. I meet with my Nutrionist tomorrow then my psych eval later. What can I expect on my visit tomorrow? Were u banded locally by Dr. Bagnato 2?!?? -

Thanks utcaneuser & sanction for the info. I told the weight loss office that I needed a letter of medical neccessity but the lady was asking what was included. I thought the office should know that part!!!! -

I have completed my 3 consecutive months of being medically supervised by a weight loss doctor. Can anyone tell me exactly what the office needs to send or write up for the surgeon. -
