Hi, everyone! I'm in search of a health insurance company that will pay for most or all of my lap band surgery. I have recently checked with a few local ones and anthem blue cross blue shield seems to be the only one that will cover me with me being 5'7 @ 310 lbs. I really want to find a health insurance company that will take me at my weight and cover most or all of my lap band surgery costs. Thank you, -

I have scheduled a seminar through a WLS center near me, but they ask that I bring my ID, Insurance card, and list of medications that I take. Is insurance necessary when going to a seminar? -

Hi, everyone. I'm a lesbian. My gf and I have been considering starting a family soon. Since we are both female, we will be usuing IVF. I'm considering the lapband surgery as a life change before we start our family and to help me get down down below 30BMI to qualify for the IVF. But I'm not sure if the lap band would affect me qualifying for IVF negatively. I'm not sure if anyone can help, but I hope so:-) Thank you,
