Hi mine is September 3! Would love a friend to talk about it -
Had a very small fill last Wednesday ! I was good Thursday Friday and Saturday ! Yesterday not to good didn't feel well and couldn't hold much down. Today feeling better but now have minor cramps and and some lower back pain. Not sure if I'm to tight or if I am getting sick. To add to this my sons friend came over last night and must of had the stomach flu because we threw up EVERYWHERE! I have had the band for over a year and I do realize that with me and I am not sure if anyone else feels this way it seems to get a little tighter a week later? Any suggestions?

I think the slower the better! It's a journey and I remember when I was new at this I didn't want to hear that but now I know it's the only way! It's didn't come on over night and I can't take it off over night! Be patient and persistent and it will come off and more importantly stay off! Good luck' -
Today marks one year for me! This time last year I was nervous and excited all at once! I am down almost 60 pounds. It been a very slow and steady pace and I am so ok with that. I'm about 4 pounds from my goal. (I was on the smaller size didn't think I would get approved) besides the scale going downward my NON SCALE VICTORY included great blood work. All my lousy number are down! From cholesterol to sugar to blood pressure! I have a lot more energy ! My clothes fit so much better! I like that I don't have this obsession with food anymore! I'm ok with a small amount! We as American eat entirely to much! Too bad it took me too long to figure it out! Loving the new me!!!!!

I'm from south jersey , would live to talk!!! Had my surgery last December. I am at a stand still but I was on the smaller side and didn't need a lot to lose. Lost about 47, need to loose 15 more! Look and feel a whole lot better than last year!

Also do you remember years years ago a happy meal was a meal . A serving size of a French fry was a small fry! Our serving size has just gotten out of control.

I took off three weeks! But I had the time that I saved! I'm glad for that! I think 1-2 weeks. But everyone is different! Every one says that! But I could not imagine going back to work after a couple of days. Also I lift heavy things in my job so that's why I didn't get the ok! Good luck! -

I got my first fill today at 10. The worst part was the waiting. The doctor cleaned the area with alcohol and before I knew it , it was over !!! I did close my eyes because the needle did look big on the table. But it was a small pinch like the flu shot pinch. Some pressure and it was over. Ihhungry now because

is gas pain really this bad???
Daisy1244 replied to melidawn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had terrible gas pain. When I I went to the doctor for my follow up I asked him why they didn't warn us about the pain. He said some people experience it and some don't. I had terrible actually excruciating left shoulder pain. The good thing is that everyday it got better, thank goodness. I kept remembering this too shall pass!!!!! A heating pad made it more manageable. Good luck. It's all worth it in the end
