That's exactly how I feel I don't know what to eat so I just rather not eat anything... -
Yes defiantly make sure your surgeon office sent ALL the papers in.. The first time I got denied was because my surgeon office didn't send in my co morbidity or my psych eval... So I had to appeal it then wait... That's all I did for over a year was wait... It's sucks but don't give up just appeal it... I assumed my surgeon office ha it under control but everyday it was something that they would forget or just not do... Hopefully you figure it out soon

My family always has negitive comments too. Then I go and read things on the internet and freak myself out.... You just have to go with what you want...I was kinda leaning toward not getting it and now Im glad I did it!! I am almost a month out and have not had any problems!! hopefully it will stay that way..just listen to your doctor...Good luck -
Hey everyone!! I was wondering what everyone eats after there 6 week mark... What to stay away from things that are good... Thank you

Thank you for all your replys... I am on soft and mushy stage... Just a little worried about being able to eat whatever and then eating something that makes me sick or something
-
Tanks for the reply...that's good I'm on the puréed stage in a couple days I go to soft and mushy...isn't that like the same thing?.

I was wondering how everyone sleeve was after the 6 weeks mark after you can go back to eating regular...do you still have to use the 30-30-30 rule....does it still hurt when you eat...and is it still 2 ounces of food...thanks
-
So is mine ever since surgery I wake up and it dry and weird taste
-
Hey... I got sleeved April 30th.... So I'm 12 days post and I feel like normal... Some pain in my side but it comes an goes no big deal... I don't have any hair loss hopefully won't happen... But for me after it was hard for to get my liquids and protein... The 3 rd day I was cleared for puréed foods... But I was not even hungry... But I suggest isopure because it counts for both protein and liquids which is great because before that I felt like all I did was drink I still don't get all my liquids but in trying... Isopure is expensive and it does take a little but to get used to the taste but the bottles I get are 40 grams of protein and 20 ounces of liquid... Hope tho helps

I'm 12 days from surgery... I pretty much feel normal now except for earlier I have had pains... It's above my top right incision it is pain that comes and goes... Was wondering if anyone has experienced this??

I have a question my surgery was April 30th I'm on puréed foods now... Whenever I start to eat after a few bites I get this pain in the top of my stomach.. It feels like a gas pain but its a few seconds but then it keeps coming back?? And I'm not sure if that means I'm full or what... I only am getting 2 ounces each time
-
I know it's hard!! It would be great if they both counted!!
-
Yea it is hard I can't seem to get all that in a day.. But my doctor said that it does not count as your daily liquids which sucks... But I just called my nut earlier with a protein question about isopure... And it counts as both protein and liquid... They are expensive though.. I bought 3 20 oz. bottles of blue raspberry and it was like $15.. But it's 20 oz. of liquids and 40 grams of protein... The taste isn't to bad as long as its very cold!! So this is what I'm going to try in drink to start getting all my fluids which I have been doing terrible at... It feels like all I do all day I eat or drink and I don't want to do either.. But I know that it's important so I'm trying my best

That sounds like a good idea
