I have had weight issues all my life up & down like a yo yo. I have been on Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, HGC, Dr, Bernstein etc not to mention the magazine diets taken it off and then well you know. I met a women when on vacation last Oct 2011 who had the band done the year before and she had lost 100 lbs needless to say she looked great. When I returned home I started researching the proceedure. I live in Calgary, Alberta (western Canada north of Montana & Idho), I found one office which did the fills and teaching in Calgary but the surgery in in Toronto. After a meeting and more research on other clinics I decided this was for me . Alberta health insurance covers a portion of th LapBand surgery and the balance is tax deductable. I have spent over the years $$$ with non lasting results. I plan on this being the last diet I will be on for the rest of my life and lose the 100lbs keep it off forever. Oh, yeah I'm getting married next year in August 2013 and I will look and be the heathier than I have in years. My new life begins Sept 13, 2012
