I feel like I have to burp and I have severe gas pain under my left breast I haven't been able to burp since my surgery on 9/20 It's even worse after I drink something cold. ! Any one else have this ? Gas ex does NOTHING

What food do you all find keeps you feeling full the longest?

Fage 2% Greek yogurt I add sugar free strawberry jam or fresh berries and Stevia Yummy

String cheese is full of Protein and little in calories Good choice

I wouldn't worry too much about being a perfect writer. This is a forum to pour your weight related thoughts into and to ask questions and get feedback about the band. It's not a creative writing class. You should be proud of your accomplishments. This surgery is very difficult. Good Luck

Don't ever try and eat ham steak! I don't know what I was thinking but I ate a piece of ham steak. It got stuck so I drank Water to wash it down. The water came up my nose and I couldn't take a breath. So scary. I thought I may pass out. I blew the water out of my nose and could take a breath. Then I threw up for the first time since my surgery 9/20/12. It was still stuck but I threw up again and it dislodged ! I drank water and now I'm not going to eat today or tomorrow Wow I better stick with fish and chicken and turkey meatloaf! I was debating weather to get a fill at my appt. on the 19 th. Now I know I don't want one !!! I have 5.5 cc in a 10 cc band.

I sat on one of those white plastic outdoor chairs and the back legs gave out But the funny part is they went ever so slowly so I slowly, slowly sank down with the chair till I was laying on my back with the chair wedged under me!

I also have a desk job I was in a lot of pain after surgery.i was weak from not eating. I didn't expect to feel that bad. I was off work a week and wished I had taken more sick leave. Everyone seems different!

Doc Ordered a CAT scan and said I have fluid around my band. I've been suffering with a fever I'm on my second set of antibiotics. Has this happened anyone else?

I went to my surgeon He is afraid my band is infected :-( If this second round of antibiotics doesn't clear it out I may lose my band I am self pay, I'll be paying for my band for 18 months Please pray for me I NEED to lose this weight and I really need and want my band! Thanks everyone

I got one and if feels the same 4cc

I'm totally confused I was given a list of foods and was told to eat what's on the 1000 calorie list If I eat it all its way more than 3 cups of food each day! The lap band coordinator said I'm not eating enough My Doc said eat what you can. He hasn't really discussed my food with me yet I got my first fill today I did have issues early on and I just got over an infection so maybe that is why Not sure if I eat one cup or all the food on the list?

Got my first fill today. 4cc's I saw the needle! Omg it looked huge. It didn't hurt one bit! My Dr. Rocks! Let the weight loss begin!

Well it's not Gas pain. Dr. thinks the Tubing is either being rejected by my body or it is rubbing on my diaphragm. I'm getting a CAT scan on Tuesday to see what's wrong . i just pray they don't have to remove my band. I'll keep you all posted thanks for all your prayers.

I'm Going to see my doctor tomorrow I have severe pain too and I think it's gas but it's all on my left side so good luck and keep us posted

I use a pill crusher and mix with a little water and it goes right down Just check with your Dr to make sure they are not time release

Fage low fat yogurt is excellent source of Protein Just add some sugar free strawberry jam and a packet of Truvia It's excellent and low calorie
