I also was banded 9/20 and haven't lost weight since surgery Lost 17 on pre op Dr said once you start back on food the weight will come off Also the amount you have to lose affects it also Not to worry!

Milk of magnesia helped me And my Dr said it was the best

Was banded 9/20 so I haven't eaten solid food in 17 days I'm so hungry I can't wait to eat some scrambled eggs! Hope this is considered mushy food !

Wish I knew how my band is supposed to feel! I can't tell if the pain and pressure in my chest is gas, heartburn, or my band! I've only had it 13 days!

Was banded 9/20 Had a week of severe pain My Dr unfilled my band by 2nd Because I had severe heartburn Now in thinking it may have been gas But I'm starving today and he doesn't understand why I keep telling him it's not anovernight cure He making me feel bad for eating sugarfree popsicles and a little yogurt to get my crushed pills down cause they taste horrible Now I'm so depressed Didn't think he'd be like this Guess I'll catch he'll everytime I eat till the weight is off I guess this it the band he'll I hear everyone talking about ! I'm grateful for all if you who understand Love you all !!!

Some people I have told are very negative and think I should be able to do it on my own I only tell people who love me !

You have the tools (your band) Go back to your doc for help And you have the time to concentrate on yourself and time to workout You are your greatest investment Go for it Kevin

You all are so lucky My insurance would not pay for the surgery I borrowed from my 401k If I keep eating like I was I won't live to retire That was my thinking So be grateful !

I had to do optifast for 2 weeks prior to surgery I lost 20 lbs I was not on a diet prior because I was self pay (crummy insurance) Now I'm 8 days post op and haven't lost any more :-(

I was banded 9 days ago and I can finally sleep on my side. My throat still hurts from intubation. The strange thing is I wake up with a totally dry mouth. No saliva! I did not have this pre surgery. It gets better pretty fast.

I had my incisions glued shut and I'm not itching Must be the strips

I was dreaming of eating watermelon !!!

I had severe abdominal pain Felt like hot knives in my side Subsided after 4 days Now it's gas I had a hard time but now... One week later it's much better Hang in there (((hugs)))

Does it feel hot to the touch If so call your dr to make sure there's no infection Good luck

Thank you everyone I walked and walked around my office The gas moved to a different spot Then I came home and layer on my left side with a pillow under Ate a little plain Greek yogurt Feel somewhat better Glad tomorrow is Friday You guys are a big help !!!
