    Menstrual Bleeding After Switching Bc

    My band always tightens few days before up to a week after my period. My dr said that'd normal. Im on yaz and skip sugar pills so i only get my period every 3 months. When i do have my period i only do liquid and pureed foods. At least i know when my friend is coming. Good luck!
  3. Thanks i will:-) i go back to my dr next Monday. He have me 5cc because that's where i have been successful in the past. I am making healthier choices and eating smaller portions. Head hunger still gets me but I'm pretty close to me sweet spot!
  4. I can relate totally. I was banded 4 years ago. Was super close to goal. Suffered a slip and an unfill a year and a half ago. In the last year and a half my husband had a affair and i opted for divorce becoming a single Mom of 2 young children. I also was laid off from my job and lost my health insurance. I didn't make myself a priority and gained back 50 pounds:-( two Weeks ago i had my aha moment and got a fill. My Dr was supportive. My full was no different than any of the other ones i had. That's the beauty of the band. It's like our best friend....there for us when we need it. You have taken the first step back on the band wagon. Welcome back and good luck on your journey!

    Weigh In

    good for u! I'm a scale addict. i get so obsessed with the numbers :-( i need to focus on how i feel and not on how close (or not close) to my "goal" weight i am. i recently threw my scale away. instead im going to allow Myself 3 times a week to weigh myself with wii fit...but only to see my bmi and the fluctuation in my weight. I'm hoping this will keep me from weighing myself up to 5 times a day like i have been know to do:-)

    Meals For 1

    i have been planning my meals and cooking them for the week on Sundays. usually i start by putting chicken or turkey in the crockpot with a half cup of water the night before. then i use my steamed meats to make meals. this week i used chicken so i used different veggies and sauces on each serving to mix it up and put it in tupperware froze and they are ready to go:-)

    I Think I Need A Buddy. Struggling...

    i could really use a buddy too! In the last yr I got divorced and lost my job and health insurance. needless to say i haven't made myself a priority. i had a slip and complete unfill last aug and without insurance never got a fill. ive gained 30lbs! i need to get back on track!
