  1. I had the same problem. I stayed home the first week and just didn't wear a bra. Hard when you are a 44F, but it really helped. The pain lasted longer from that higher incision then the lap band area. It will get better!

    You are doing awesome. Don't get a fill if you are managing. I am at 3cc and never had another fill. Reached goal in 14 months (down 156 pounds). Don't rush the fills, some of us are very lucky and don't need them.

    I miss fresh water fishing up there! We had property on a lake near Brainard, actually Little Falls. Walleye is my favorite! It was 90 here today!

    I thought it was potassium, that is why we eat bananas after/during tennis matches.

    What was the first habit you changed?

    Pre surgery it was sweet tea, soda, white bread and pasta. Post op it was not drinking with meals. Took back the bread and pasta, but only whole grain and small amounts.

    Hamburger?

    I very rarely rat hamburger now. Just think the ground turkey is better for you so I have made that change and use it for everything! If I make meatloaf, I add a little hamburger just for color. Don't notice the difference anymore for tacos, burgers, spaghetti, etc. Just became the new staple in my household.

    Not for years! Hope you find someone up there! I grew up in southern MN, but now in FL.
  8. What are you eating? If you are not and only drinking the tightening (fill) won't help. My suggestion is stay away from Starbucks or wherever younarengetting your drinks. You have to break the habit, once you do your taste buds may change. Mine did, but it took a couple weeks of staying away from the sugary drinks and now I can't stand the taste. Find a substitute. I make my own tee and flavored drinks using truvia. I know it is hard, but you can do it. I also find that logging everything keeps me accountable. I love food, so I don't drink my calories.

    Sounds awesome. I have a similar recipe for breakfast with shredded hash browns, egg, cheese, and any meat and spices you want. I make them in a muffin pan and freeze them also.

    It never hurts to ask, but your band can't be reached and I would think your port site would hurt like he'll if you hit it directly. Be careful and watch it today and call tomorrow if you are having problems!

    Who am I if I'm not fat?

    I am with you. I never felt bad about being fat until I was having too many health issues and couldn't walk. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I still had/have great self-esteem and always thought I looked good (lol). Now I am down 94% of my excess weight and feel great. The excess skin does bother me, though being fat didn't! Go figure! I just hope I will be able to afford to fix that some day. But the healthy part from losing weight is awesome! You will love your new body too.

    Tell your doctor. They have a vitamin program to get it back on track. I did it for three months and it quit falling out and is back to normal now.

    Same thing happened to me a year ago. Now I add a clear Fiber to my Water every day along with the stool softener. We are nowneating so different and a lot less fiber then we used to. Glad you got a fix. One time with that problem is all it takes!

  20. Didn't even think of it! Made tacos earlier this week, watched a lot of tennis, rode my bike and had some guacamole while I cooked for my visiting tennisnplayers. Made them hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill with some beans and rice. I had a little chicken salad!
