Up your protein and make sure enough water. If plenty of protein then don't worry about it. You lost plenty for one week. Good job! -

I Need Help With A Pressure Cooker!
prchrskd replied to tiggergramma's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Don't move the jiggler to release pressure. That is dangerous to the max. Run cold water over it or let it cool down naturally. Don't remove the lid until ALL the pressure is gone. I didn't once & it blew up on me. Lucky only 2 nd degree burns. Don't release pressure with the jiggler ladies. Please! Will cook your meat more tender than anything. Love mine. Use one for 40 years. Can veggies & fruit with my pressure canner. Great time saver. -
Lol. Colorado has the least obesity of any state. I noticed when I visited. Then saw stats that confirmed. I saw people riding bicycles up unbelievable elevations. Saw teens running trails like billy goats. I loved it. Off subject. Sorry

Some medications cannot be crushed if time released. It is very important to clear this with your doctor or pharmacist.

I used chantix and it worked but I was a raving lunatic for a bit. Did the same on Meridia ( for wt loss). Can't handle SSRIs. (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). Started again later. Quit cold turkey this time. I want the Lapband. Knew I'd have to. Motivation is the name of the game

I have lost and gained hundreds of lbs in my life. Enough is enough. So as a future lapbander I have that same fear of failure. I think one key to success is keeping the support of our medical staff, friends & family, and the good folks on this forum. Encouragement means a lot.

I'm in month two of six months diet before ins will cover Lapband. I went protein low carb. It helps me more with my appetite than any other diet. No sugar. No grains. No potatoes. I actually crave potatoes the most. Ive lost 21 lbs since the end of June. Not into much exercise but increased to walking more and just last week climbing some stairs. That kicked the wt loss back in! I trying to lose wt gradually and increase my activity slowly.
