I'm so sorry to hear this! Sounds to me like you had a horrible team of DR's that you were going to! I mean really, that sounds like that case to me more than anything.. and the surgeon that put your band in, he damaged your stomach.. it's not the bands fault, it was your physicians! -
Went to my pre-op & pre-anesth appt last Thursday, and let's just say terrifying experience.. still pushing forward tho, nothing is stopping me this time!! #positive #strength #hope

So, my question is to those of you that are pre-op & post-op... did any of you continue to smoke ciggarettes before & after surgery????

Have to quit smoking asap... pretty nervous about it! I know it'll be well worth it & I'll feel a million times better!

Well, I think I got my answers.. my surgery is Sept. 28th, so Ill definitely have to quit smoking by the first of September. They told us 6 weeks prior is efficient enough, but then I was told by the nurse that she seen patients not stop smoking b4 or after surgery. I need to quit anyway, I've been smoking for over a decade & it's time to seize the nicotine! I deifnitely think I'll try E-cigs! =) Thank you guys for your feedback!!

On our way to STL.. for our 4 yr wedding anniversary! =) Believe it or not, it was our first trip together as a couple without being accompanied by family or friends. Definitely something we will have to do more often. -
