After years of dieting I have decided now that I retired in April at 59 it was time to do this. In order to be in the best shape that i can for the surgery in May I started dieting and exercising. So far its been really good i lost 43lbs and walking two hours or more now. I also started riding my bike. I think I am in better shape then I have been in years and I am ready to do this. Like most of you that have done this and those like me waiting to the journey has not be easy and I am a little worried. This site has answered many of my questions and will keep updating as I go through this.
