i just simply told him....yep, the scale says i will lose 230 pounds the next time you bug me about it, because you will be gone

i like to drink.....don't get me wrong, i don't have to drink. but i like Margaritas with friends, posturing wines with food, or having a beer with my husband.....any suggestions?

i get eczema really bad when i sweat. now i know exercising is a must with this surgery but doing the zumba classes, going for jogs..etc is out for me! help

ok so i realize that we just paid a lot if money for this surgery.....but every single morning my husband asks me if I've lost weight. if i say no he looks at me like a complete failure! so now i don't want to even eat in front of him! what is his deal!

well i wont ever be skinny and really have no desire to be....but i am loving becoming curvier and I've always been cute!

my first month i just knew i was a flunky because it seemed like i was more hungry after the surgery. once i started getting regular fills it started changing. i go fit my third fill on the 7th of next month....so here's hoping

i have the 10 cc band a i feel very little restriction at 4.5cc i go back September 7 for my third fill and hoping to feel a significant difference....keeping fingers crossed

ok what's three deal with this? is there a reason i can't take a normal drink?

yeah definitely love a good glass of wine......and have been known to like a bad glass of wine!

OK, so I am on here reading all of these success stories and responses to people having what I like to call "real people" issues and I have to say "it must be nice for losing weight to be a cake walk!" (no pun intended) This has been one of the most irritating chapters of my life! My husband asking every day...."did you weigh yourself?" co-workers "how much have you lost" Oh that's all.." Weighing food counting callories, don't eat this don't eat that. Let's face it, being a disciplined eater SUCKS a lot of the time! If it didn't none of us would be part of the "banded brethren" in the first place! Now don't get me wrong, I am not trying to discourage anyone, I am just letting go of the thoughts I am having HOPING I am not the only one! I am going to continue to find substitutes for the really bad foods I used to eat, I am still going to weigh and count callories. And I am still going to have days where when I see a skinny girl eating a cheeseburger I am going to want to trip her! Can I get some love for saying what a lot of us think!

I am right there with you! I was banded 5/30/12 and I have only lost 20 lbs! SO IRRITATED and feeling like I just waisted $10K! Am I a lap-band flunkey?!
