IVE BEEN APPROVED FOR EARLY RELEASE OF SUPER ( sort of ) the bloke rang today to query some things on my application and said it all checked out, I said so does that mean its approved and he said when I get the letter it will be approved, but yes Im pre approved. Rang Super and they said it takes 5 working days to release Super. SOOOOOOOo it might be all done by end of October sleeve included WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO. On a side note Lila I asked if something went wrong would I be able to dip in again and they said yes so its something to look into.......

Hey thanks everyone on the responses. Im getting done in the Mater (yup Oclinic) and live 1 hr North of Newcastle so the distance is a little bit of an issue with leaving the area. Me being me though I am going to go home after release from hospital. I have made a pinky promise with the wife to be on my best behaviour after surgery and not cause too many dramas for her....lol. I have asked for a lil bell though which didnt go down to well lol. Sending off my early release of super papers mon morning express post, hopefully it doesnt take too long to come through then Dr said could get done by end of Novemeber at the latest. So pumped right now......but still hate to wait...lol Scotty

Thanks Kayargh, I have another ? for you guys, Im travelling to have my op, but my surgeon wants me to stay in the area for 2 weeks after the surgery in case any complications arise and we can sort it out straight away. I cant really afford to stay somewhere for 2 weeks so am coming home. Its only a couple of hours away but havent got many options. What would you do?? Scotty

Hope it all went well Lila, let us know. I had my 3rd different surgeon consult today at Oclinic in Sydney, seemed positive. Have to send off super stuff n wait..... When it's cleared should be done by Nov.

I have bad knees as well and looked up physio exercises on youtube (u can find anything on youtube...lol ) and the exercise was similar but standing on 1 leg then put your other leg out as far as you can to 12 oclock then back then 130 then 3 then 430 and so on all around the imaginary clockface. Then repeat on other leg. These exercises have helped a huge amount with me..... Scotty

Thats some good work there buddy, loose skin is something im gunna try n fight with the gym seshs as well....

I am still waiting to be sleeved but have been consuming my time over the last 6 months watching Youtube videos and looking at all the b4 and after photos I can. I just cant get enough of the visual images, seeing the changes and imagining myself going through these Milestones. I am thinking of doing the Youtube video thingy but arent to cluey with all the technology...lol....My wife will probably do it for me I think there should be more of it. My first appt. is 3rd Sept then see how long it takes after that. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for all the people with the confidence to display the worst and the best sides of themselves. Booked my appt. with Dr Taylor today for 3rd September soooooooooooooooooooo excited. Its all happening. Gotta get on with sending off my early release of super bizzo. This is so much better than waiting till July next year. Doing a lil jig right now. Love my wife.

Thanks all you've been great, Im gunna look into the Weight Loss Solutions as I have no idea where else to look. Its a bit daunting especially since I am so far away. I have questions...How long till I would be able to go home?? I would have to fly ( I could drive but that would be a fairly big trip), what are the costs and appointments that I would have to fit in in 1 trip?? Wow, Thanks for the responses, Lila you're in Gunnedah howd u do all the lead up for surgery in Brisbane?? I am in Branxton near Singleton and really dont want to wait ( I will if I have to ) but if I can do it early then let me at it!!! Michelle I actually signed up for PHI on the 25 July....lol. I hate waiting though.. I have the forms for early release of Super but my Surgeon said he wouldnt do it Self Funded. Any tips on how to go about Self Funded would be greatly appreciated. Gday Aussie Sleevers, Hi all just wanted to say hi I am on the 12 month torture test waiting for PHI to kick in. Ive been reading everything I can get my hands on... My story so far...... Am male 6'1 140kgs, like most on here been the big one all my life! Over it, wanna be fit n healthy. My mates are all the crazy crossfit n active guys n keep trying to drag me along, but I end up feeling stupid being the last one to finish and looking rediculous trying. I'd love to be there believe me.lol. I used to train in MMA (think UFC on a much smaller scale) but hurt my knee and just couldnt lose any weight doing it. I did have my first fight last year got down to 119kgs but then put it all back on. Was suppose to have another fight this year in march and was training rediculously hard for 2 months still not losing any weight and got a rejection from the doctor saying most I can do is a brisk walk, too much pressure on my heart. Everything I loved outside of Family was put on hold.....GGGGRRRRR. Anyhoo started PHI in July and have to weight (lol) 12 months till I can have surgery, although I am thinking of trying Dr that will do self funding ( my Dr only does PHI in case something goes wrong). I also have to get early release from super to do anything. Just want to be thin........ Scotty
