I'm going on a vacation this week to stay with extended family. I'm 3 weeks post op and on mushy foods only. I don't know these folks at all and don't want to share the news.of my surgery with them, but concerned how to handle my inability to eat while I'm visiting them. Has anyone been in this situation? Any advice for me? Thanks!

If it is really keeping me awake, I will have 1/2 a container of sugar free jello. It's just enough to make it stop growling.
