Thanks everyone! Well, I just got back from my 1st meeting with the surgeon. He said that I'm a perfect candidate for the LapBand BUT, insurance will probably not cover me! Basically, I'm not sick enough or big enough......Not too sure what I'm going to do yet but, I'm not giving up!

Bigenuff, have you started exercising yet & if so, was it hard to get started? Just curious, what made you ALL choose the band & not the sleeve? Thank you everyone!

Which Tricare do you have? I called Tricare 3 times in the last week & they all said that I have to have the 6 months of a supervised diet...I have Triwest. I wonder if it's different in different regions?

That's great! How long did it take you to get the restriction? Have you had any 'stuck' episodes? They sound frightening... BUT, I'm so ready to start living!
