I could cry my doctor office won't schedule my surgery until after its approved wish I had known this before hand then I would have went to my friends doctor office they give you a date one month before you finish with your visit just in case the insurance is quick to approve so you can have your surgery right away but you do have to allow for the 2 week diet...

Not to be a Debbie Downer I met with my surgeon and he claims I can take all the Biotin and other vitamins and shampoo if its going to happen its going to happen...he seems to think that getting Biotin and getting all your protein or increasing it is not going to help hairloss. and then he says some of my most happy patients are losing hair and weight..OH GREAT! I have already bought wigs just in case and let me tell u I have tried wearing and it was a lil hot..I don't know what I am going to do..but no need in me stressing now since I can't predict the future....

Hoping for mid Aprl or first week of May.....come on April...ready for spring time

I wish my surgery was schedule really soon then I would give you dress slacks and nice sweaters but I have one more appt then we submit to the insurance...hopefully someone will help u

Thanks everyone for the kind words...I haven't been on here for awhile...her funeral was on Wedes and I went to the wake and barely made it 30mins without sobbing..I gave her husband and 2 sons and hug and left and cried in the car...I left and went to my truck and looked up and told her I made it I made it...At one point I didn't want to go and when I got close to the casket I refused to look in because I refused to believe she is gone....later that day when I was out I went to call her and was like oh gosh she isn't here anymore...and when things happen at work I say I about to call her and then I reach for the phone and realize I can't tell her in person what is going on...GOSH I MISS HER SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH...I hate to say this but I can't wait till I get to the point that I am only crying once aday instead of numerous of times a day....I hadn't told her about my journey to WLS because I didn't have my appt until after she got sick and it didn't seem like the right time to say anything...I just believe she would make it!!!!!! LIl New ME..of course I will take app's just so that you know I am the baby of the family and she was the oldest of her family so we worked real well together....THANKS EVERYONE I still cry everyday but one day I will smile

I really appreciate all the love...as we get older it is hardier to find true friends....I hope to one day find another friend that I can trust and one that I can open up to....I am reading a book by Rick Warren and it is teaching me to not say why but what is this teaching me....and this teaches me life is too short and I knew what I had and now its gone

I haven't found any doctors in my area that does this surgery...this one surgeon used to but they didn't say why he stopped.. for those who have it do you like it so far

That my life pretty much boring I don't get out and do anything and I young....boy I know the surgery will not change me only I can change me and find people who want to do things besides eating

Yes check your insurance I had a place tell someone I know 6 months and I kept telling her they didn't know what they were talking about she didn't believe me and a lady came in 2 months after her and got her surgery before she did....SO CHECK CHECK CHECK

It seems like a lot of those saying their cold live in cold climates I wonder in the winter are you still cold....or people who live in like Hot Texas or Florida
