im so happy that you made it through! and we are sleeve sisters. surgery date is nov 6th for me as well i am excited and cant wait! dont worry i am on pre op diet too but i am allowed food as well. so hang in there we will be soooooo happy this time next week healing beautifully! good luck

Nov 6th here and the 5th is my birthday soooooo much anxiety but so excited and ready"!!! Pre op diet is OK mine is only 10 days I'm allowed some food Migraines from caffeine withdrawal LOL but other than that I'm already down 4 pounds and can't wait for our real journeys to begin! !! congratulations~! thats ALOT. ive lost 14 during the meetings with my NUT but gained alot back. so far ive lost 4 pounds in 3 days since i started my liquid diet. i am allowed food so it is still hard and plus i have to cook for my daughter. ive been doing great i think its easy to cut out the snacks and carbs when u know it will make ur liver extra fat lol.l i def dont want 2 be opened up. good luck to both of us getting sleeved on the same day!!

hi kathy! we are sleeve twins! november 6th for me as well. my birthday is nov. 5th and the hospital is supposed to call me between 1-5pm to give me my surgery time and all the details. i STILL cant believe that its only a week away. i have wicked anxiety as well. the hospital actually sent me a disc and abook to listen to to help me get through it.

more power to you girl! that sounds amazing. i took had to give up smoking 3 weeks pre op. i am getting sleeved next week and i still cant believe it. i am excited ready so nervous and scared. ive been using an electronic cigarette and hopefully after surgery ill get on the patch!!

lol my liquid diet sounds exactly like yours! i am also allowed hard boiled egg and van greek yogurt. im only on it for 10 days and this is day 3 ive already lost 4 pounds! honestly i made a pot of broccoli and ive been eating that w my boneless chicken. i dont get too bored of it either. i loveeee chicken and i love broccoli. idont miss the pasta or bread or anything like that. good luck! the only thing hard for me is the headaches i am experiencing. other than that im excited. you can also try deli sliced chicken or turkey for your meat that you are allowed.

HEY GIRL! i am day 3 on my pre op liquid diet and ive already lost 4 pounds?!! lol i weigh MUCH more than you so i wont disclose it here but it is very exciting to see the scale finally going down! i cant wait for our drastic changes. and we are getting sleeved on the same day! its hard to believe my birthday is the day before. i keep forgetting that. im preparing for hurricane Sandy over here. they closed my job and daycare today. it is nice to relax here at home my pre op diet i am drinking atkins shakes the doc says 3-4 a day. i am also allowed 2 things on this list a day: 2 oz of chicken 1 hard boiled egg 8 oz of greek yogurt cottage cheese (which i hate) im also allowed 2 cups of steamed veggies and 1 cup of raw a day. so this morning i had a hard boiled egg and my atkins shake. for lunch i will have chicken and cucumbers. then dinner another shake. wow its hard but its fun to see the scale going down. i should drag myself to the gym before the storm hits. good luck to you and i hope are surgeries go perfectly smooooth!!!!

Oh yeah ask the doc for a refund that is ridiculous "!!!! 250 is ALOT of money! !! My shakes are 6.00 (Atkins) for a pack if 4. U can also get Protein powder for 19.88 at Walmart. my surgeons office gave me a great list to choose from!! Sent from my Samsung Admire using VST
