as anxious and excited as i am there is still a chance i could not have this surgery. although i have been approved by insurance and cleared by surgeon and have a surgery date. my PCP still has to clear me. i have an appointment with her at 1:00pm tomorrow. she is pricking my finger to test my blood sugar levels for the past 3 months. if they were elevated or if anything looks high or abnormal she wont clear me for surgery. (mind you i have never been diagnosed with diabetes or put on medication for it. i don't understand this because i have had my blood sugar levels tested a lot the past couple of months (twice). i just made the mistake of going after a work party where we had cupcakes and Cookies this was on october 19th before i even started my pre op diet . i did my bloodwork literally a half an hour after leaving work that day. i just hope and pray that God is on my side tomorrow and shows beautiful numbers. although i am on my liquid diet, i will be fasting with lemon juice and Water until after my appointment. i want a good weigh in weight and i am worried about the sugar contained in the atkins Protein shakes my surgeon has me on, i don't want to take any chances. i cant help but be worried but i am trying to stay positive and hope for the best. if anyone sees this. pray for your sleeve sister that this WILL happen for me and be the best birthday present to myself EVER!!!!

Ahhhh!!!! Thank u!!! I am very excited just left pcp for clearance down 12 pounds since pre op diet started! !! This is insaaaane. I fasted all day this morning and it felt good to stick to it. OMG the clearance went good bur was soooooo pointless!!!! All she did was give me the paper for blood work and urine? ????? She could have called this in! And now the results can take up to 3 days. I started at 319 and I'm at the doctor now and I'm weighing at 307. I kept fluctuating through out my 6 months of nut visits. I drink Atkins shakes lots of water crystal light and one protein meal a day. 2oz of chicken,1 cup of veggies and either Greek yogurt or a hard boiled egg. pcp clearance in less than 4 hours! and i am down 9 pounds since i started pre op diet. is that possible it hasnt even been a week yet

whaaaat! i am terrified with so much anxiety. honestly im not nervous about the surgery im nervous about the healing and taking care of my 2 year old while me and my husband are separated right now. im scared of just everyday movement getting her dressed,giving her a bath, putting her in the car seat. she will be at day care all day and i have 3 weeks off of work which is good i just very ready and excited to heal and start really losing. pre op diet has me down 4 pounds so far but feeling weak with headaches.

hair grade?? lol. that mixture sounds good!!! i plan on getting my hair braided this friday (sleeved next tuesday) i am very careful with keeping the braids in for too long because my edges always go thin. i have strong thick hair though esp after my daughter BUT in the middle its always lacking the moisture!!! i just hope and pray that my hair doesnt fall out., if it does i plan on going for a short rihanna cut lol

i feel your pain girl lol surg date is nov 6th too! i been peeing every half hour i swear. only 4 more days at work on the diet. my co workers are great but it was very awkward today lol. we can do this!! nov 6th is the special glorius day!
