Im on my liquid diet and have been for 6 days. My question is: did anyone gallbladder start hurting in their lower right side in your back?

Really trying to tough it out cause I get sleeved Thursday. Sure don't want nothing getting in the way after this journey.

Today makes 5 days I hadn't ate nothing. But with everyone else eating I dug around in my freezer and start reading labels. I found sausage and it had 0 carbs and 0 sugar so I caved in and had some. Now I feel horrible and scared because I don't won't to cancel my surgery which is only 3 days away. I have got to take something Wednesday for my bowls called in by my surgeon do you think I will be ok since I swear not to eat nothing else?

Thank you it does help knowing it will be much easier after surgery. I have lost 11 pounds just in 5 days

Thank you babyblue4all2c. I feel stupid now cause I think it was all in my head, lol. Not really hungry but I thought I was. Hope that doesnt sound too crazy

Was wondering can u have a pickle on pre op diet? There no carbs or sugars

Thanks, I am going to stay strong. My husband tonight ate hamburger steak with Cajun fries and extra gravy. He never gains a pound. I smelt it and wanted to cheat by I was strong for once and took a walk instead. Go me!!!

@danainneworleans my surgery is August 23rd of this month. They never did a ultrasound of my liver and blood work is all fine. They said they like you to shrink liver for the surgery. I'm on day 3 of diet and I hate it. I can only have fluids that can be drank with very little sugar or none at all with protein drinks. I found premier chocolate is ok you can get it at Sam's.

@beth, thank you. I was worried. They have never done a ultrasound of my liver but just said they want it to shrink before surgery.

I know I live food too. But I'm sick of being the only fat one in my family or social group. I have surgery Aug 23rd, if my doctor doesn't cancel. I was suppose to start protein liquid diet on the 5th. My pre op was the 7th until they hadnt received approval so they pushed back my pre op til Aug 14th. I figured since they pushed back my pre op they would automatically push back my surgery date, they didn't. So, I have been on liquid protein as of today makes 3 days. I have 5 more to go and hope my liver has shrunk enough the doctor will still do surgery. What do you think?

I live in Jonesville, just a small country town. I live 3 1/2 hours from New Orleans but you have to travel anywhere in Louisiana to get something done. I wouldn't want it any other way. Just be careful when ya go and I hope ur going in a group. There was a shooting there last year around Halloween.

Thank you for the advise, I am getting in protein and taking vitamins also getting in alot of water. The shakes are just hard to get down.

I hate the protein shakes, I've order some chewable protein. What kind of cream soup? And you drank milk? I think I can do that.

I'm nervous, scared and excited! I can't find a protein shake I like though. Premier is ok but I still gag. I wish there was a pill for protein.

The past two days I have hardly nothing to eat. I have a banana, SF JELLO, 3 pieces of sliced ham and dry tuna. I plan on not eating nothing these next 6 days just protein water and Sf jello. Do you think my liver will be shrunk enough
