Does anyone know the flavor difference between chocolate classic and chocolate splendor?

The wi scale sounds cool! I love gadgets. Does it track small increases or decreases correctly? I researched scales several years back and in the fine print somewhere, almost all of them said that it remembers and displays the previous weight unless it's different by more than 2 pounds! I want ounces measured! I used to have a 5 pound hand weight that I would put on the scale with me, then take it off just to be sure it was giving the correct number.

Dana, do you know if 90 days is the same as 3 months to Aetna? If so, mine is up November 17. I figure it will take a week or two maybe for the approval? So, I'm hoping for late November, early December. Ditto about the in-laws. I'm afraid they might be coming from Iowa for Thanksgiving. Good luck to us both on our way to invisibility! I bought a pedometer. I just try to get more steps each day than I had the day before. I'm also trying water exercise and yoga because I truly despise exercise and anything that makes me sweat. Good luck!

Ditto! I don't have to be rail thin. I just wanna get out of the Women's Department! I don't want to avoid booths, chairs with arms, stairs, etc. I don't want to wonder constantly what people are saying about me! I just want to be average. That's not too much to hope for is it? I'm also in my 90 days with Aetna. I'm hoping for a December surgery. You?

I'm so curious about this. I get thirsty, a lot. Not to an abnormal degree but running around the house, kids, etc. makes me thirsty and I often guzzle a large glass of Water, or more. After the surgery, will I not get thirsty, or will I but just a sip will quench it?

I wonder if you can stretch your stomach back out with too much liquid? I want to try really hard to never feel too full, because then I'll worry I'm stretching my nice tiny little stomach out!

To the people using it, although pretty, it's VERY hard to read!

I've been talking about exercising and eating healthier, then I'm going to get dx'd with a stomach ulcer which means I'll have a special diet for 2 weeks to prepare for the surgery to repair it. After surgery, I will also have to follow a special diet. I will then decide that since I'm already exercising and now due to the surgery, I'm losing weight, I might as well make the best of it and keep it up!

My coordinator said they only see hair loss in about 10% of patients. Seems like a lot more than that here!

I would love to hack these monsters off. I hate them. Even when I lost weight on various diets, I still couldn't wear many shirt styles without looking like a hooker. I'm going to wait until after surgery and see what happens before I make any certain decisions but I'm pretty sure I know what I want for Christmas next year!

I have to wait 3 months. I'm using the time to get in the habits of exercising, even mildly, every day, trying to increase my water intake, and maybe even lose some weight before my surgery.

Have you ever lost weight on a diet before? I'm guessing yes. Then what happened? If you're like me, you gained it all back, plus more. Then did this again and again and again. This surgery will stop the vicious cycle. No more diets. No more vicious cycle.

Wow! We are the same height but I looked nothing like that at 224! You must be all muscle because you look fantastic!

It's no one's business but my own and if people push me, which they will, I'm saying I had ulcer surgery which made it tough to eat so now I'm making the most of it with diet and exercise. I don't consider anyone a "liar" because they prefer to keep their personal life personal! I would rather tell them it's none of their damn business, but... If people do think I'm lying, or suspect I had surgery, I don't really give a ****! I'm telling my husband, my two best friends, and probably my parents and sister. Not sure about my kids. I feel like a failure for not being strong enough to do this on my own and I'd rather they didn't see that side of me. And no, I don't need any advice on whether or not this is the right way to handle it. Only I know what's best for my life, as does everyone else here for themselves. Let's try not to judge others on what they feel is best for them. This is hard enough to do without worrying about what others think. If you're worried, like I am, don't tell them! You don't owe anyone any explanations and are totally justified in saying whatever works to make YOU comfortable.

Ask now! I talked to the coordinator and she checked with my surgeon. He said he will use the first weigh in (start of program) on the application.

I don't know if it's the hormones or the weight but I feel like a total cliche'. Fat girl who sweats a lot. I feel so gross! Please tell me this decreases as I lose weight! I want to shiver and wear big bulky sweaters!

Dany, at 156 lbs at least you'll be the skinny sweaty teacher!
