My daughter once pointed out that I have "back boobs!"

I swear I know someone made a video of the jousting thing and it's going to end up going viral on YouTube.

Gee there's SO many to choose from. Maybe when I overheard the Women's Dept being called clothes for monsters. Or perhaps the cliche' of fat girl falls down the stairs at Christmas party, that's for sure one of my favorites. There's always the one where the folding chair broke when I was sitting in it, I still feel guilty because everyone blamed it on my nephew who is 6'7" and I let them! Can't fit into the restaurant booth is always fun. 3x is getting too tight. Thanksgiving video at the in-laws where I fall and everyone laughs, can't WAIT to see that one again. How about when my drunken husband talked drunken me into doing the jousting thing at a summer party and I couldn't even get onto the platform. I could go on and on...

Have you TRIED exercising? OMG, no! Gee I wish I had thought of that! Thanks so much for the tip, I'm on my way now. If only I had thought of that sooner. Exercising huh? Who knew? And, when shopping in the WOMEN's department (which is typically either next to maternity or in the basement!), I happened to overhear a girl in her 20's and her mom talking. They had accidentally crossed the line between winter coats and Women's clothes. The mom says "OMG these are huge. Oh wait, we're in the wrong department, these are for monsters." she glanced up and saw me, whispered something to her daughter and they both left snickering.

I'm hoping my depression gets better after I lose weight! I think a more positive self image will do wonders for anyone! But if you'd rather eat, no one can make the decision for you. Maybe the psych will help you sort it out.

*!*!*!*!*!*!*! DO IT!!! *!*!*!*!*!*! (pretend this is flashing) I know exactly how you feel! My legs and arms are tan, in front. The backs are white because I'm going to lay on my stomach? Hahahahaha. I can't even go without a chair because I'd never be able to get up off the ground. Hard enough getting out of a chair. And God forbid I should forget my chair because I can't use anyone else's because I will break it! Even worse, I sweat like a PIG! How cliche', the fat girl sweats a lot. It's the little things like this. The constant, daily, BS that we have to consider before anything! Because we are fat. Let's not be fat anymore! Let's think about eating different food in place of thinking about how to be fat today. Because I spend way too much time trying to figure out how to "fit" fat into the lifestyle I want!

OMG I never thought of that. How exciting! I always cringe when I say 175 when it's obvious I'm closer to 275. They never say anything though, thank God! I might just have to lose my license so I can get a new one when I get thinner. It would be so worth the $10!

I asked my doc about it and he said only about 10% of people experience it. I hope that's true. Right now, my hair is the ONLY part of me I like! Also, I take Biotin now for my nails, which were thin and weak due to years of acrylics. It really helps!

Great question, I'm a total baby when it comes to pain and will take whatever they give me!

My best friend had the bypass surgery 5 years ago, which is even worse to get through. She doesn't even remember all the hassle. She's just mad she didn't do it sooner!

Sucks, but you have to concentrate on your goal and get those boxes checked! No one is going to fight for you but you! You're almost there. Can't wait to hear from you when this part is just a distant memory! P.s. there's people like me out here who would give anything to be as close as you are!

I thought I was the only one in the game! I'm confident that everything that isn't perfect in my life is because I'm fat. The psych consult should be interesting. Of course I can't tell her that! She'd tell me that I'm crazy if I think weight loss won't make everything perfect. But it will! I just know people are pointing and laughing behind my back. I despise getting out of bed because I have to find clothes and look in the mirror and (gasp!) leave the house. I hope that I can take off my fat goggles at some point. I know exactly what you mean. I look back at pics of me after various diets when I remember thinking I was still fat. What I would give to look like that now. Every diet I ever went on led to gaining even more weight. If only I could have been content at 20 lbs overweight. 15 off, 30 on. 20 off, 40 on. 30 off, 50 on. 40 off, 80 on. Now I'm 120 lbs over. But I will get there and so will you!

So excited for you and jealous! Can't wait to follow in your footsteps.

Right now, at this weight, I'm anxious for all the gas pain, vomiting, or whatever it takes! I can't live like this anymore. I know it's not going to be easy but the choice between the fear and my current condition? As long as I expect to live through it (which I do), it can't be worse than this. I wish you great luck and NO complications!

I get it. I'm still looking at 3 months of jumping through insurance hoops. Just keep thinking of the goal. Imagine yourself next summer! Every time I see someone I haven't seen in a while I wonder what I'll look like the next time they see me! 4 weeks is nothing compared to the amount of time you've probably spent being miserable bc of your weight. Concentrate on why you are doing this! Can't wait to hear your success stories in a month or two! Hang in there!

I'm also fatter than 100% of women in the world. Currently I'm way beyond Tonga, not even a country to call my own. BUT next year at this time I will be basking on a beach in Mozambique!

I'm curious about the gas. Are we talking gas, like stomach gas, which passes out your mouth? Or the other end? Or are we talking gas because they filled your internal cavity with it to make room for the surgery? In which case, how does it come out? Can't imagined GasX would help that. Either way I'm jealous that you're done and wish you luck! My ticker below shows me jumping through insurance hoops!

If you're not supposed to have fruit, can you still have water with an orange slice? As long as you don't eat the orange I mean?
