To continue I had people say no you shouldn't your fine, but they were also half my size and didn't understand my struggle I started at 321 on the day of my surgery I was 297 and now I'm at280 I was sleeved 8/13/12 keep your head up and surround yourself with positive supporters which will make it a lot easier on you -

Yes it is and enjoy it it's mostly fluid since you haven't had any solids yet! I lost 11 my first week of surgery -
Seeing everyone's been drinking I'd just say be careful I totally understand being normal and enjoying friends, but just remember why you decided to have the surgery. Take care and I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do; this is a forum and it's just my opinion good luck to you and don't worry about the negative people they exist everywhere

I don't think you should drink this soon post op. even though you may feel good on the outside our bodies are still healing on the inside. My Dr told me if at all possible to avoid drinking till I get to my goal weight and maintain it. If all else fails I know you wanna hang with the girls and have fun but have virgin fruity something your health is more important

No regrets at all. Everyone will react to the surgery differently and even though some of theses may seem a bit extreme and frightening it still manageable and some very temporary. I'm exactly 2 weeks post op today and the only thing that bothers me is the gas I burp like crazy and it's loud to, but I'm going to start taking gasx. If thats the worst that could happen, well it nothing compared to being fat and miserable. -

Morning sleevers today is my first milestone I transition to protein shakes and puréed foods today! I feel a lot better today than I had been also considering yesterday was my first day I really got a lot of walking in I went to Sam's club and for those who've been in there know the walk I had. Still a little tightness, but Im ok. Glad I'll be able to try to get more protein in today and move beyond Popsicles -
