Hi all! I am a bandster!! I arrived at 9 am but my surgeon was in another case do I didn't go to the OR until 2pm. I had my hiatal hernia repaired and I'm headed home now! (730pm)....I am so very glad it's done!

I am ok. Sore, but ok and SO glad that's over!! The surgery lasted about 2 hours. I have 6 incisions, but all went well! I'm so excited!

I have the Isopure unflavored. I add it to coffee milk, etc. I added it to my Trop 50 OJ ...good stuff. -

Welcome! I'm on my preop "diet" and doing well so far. When i weighed yesterday I had lost 8 lbs. I am having surgery this Thursday December 6. I am very excited. Getting a little nervous. But I know it will be fine. I have been going by my instructions for the protein shakes. But my favorite snack is dill pickles! They are allowed for me so it's almost like a treat for me! -
My surgery is next Thursday. Omg. I am doing well on preop diet...8 lbs down in 7 days. I am ready. How are the other dec.6th folks doing?

Well I won't be living solely on protein shakes so I consider it somewhat of a diet...u know what I mean! I'm honestly working on my thoughts of food and eating more so than anything...

I'm very worried. I'm an OR nurse and have complete faith that things will be fine. I think ignorance is bliss in this instance! I'm afraid I won't lose weight, as I've tried so many things so many times and failed. I think I've convinced myself that being heavy was just the way I was going to be forever and now there's this hope....just scared. My surgery is next Thursday. I'm emotional...anyone else? -
