  1. I had my surgury in March and have had 5 adjustments so far. I was at 8cc of a 10cc band for over a month with no restriction before I had my last adjustment this past Friday, August 3rd of only +0.5cc. Though I felt fine at the time, as the evening wore on I found that I could not swollow any liquids including my saliva and just kept vomiting up foam all night long. I finally had to go to the emergency room Saturday morning and get an unfill. The problem was that apparently my port flipped so I had three different doctors (all bariatric surgeons mind you) stabbing me with needles for over an hour before they were able to get it and they took out all 0.5cc because they refused to try and stab me a second time if it needed to be changed. I never thought half a cc would make such a big difference. So now I'm back down to my 8cc that I had before that never gave me any restriction. The doctors told me to stay on liquids for a day, which is understandable, and then go back to eating regularly. The problem is, now it's Monday and I can only take very small sips of liquid and I have to wait for it to pass through my band (which I and everyone else can hear it doing very loudly) before I take another sip. Forget about soft or solid foods. I made the mistake of swallowing a small multi Vitamin pill this morning out of habit and had to throw it back up after it got stuck for half an hour. I don't understand what the problem is. Is it possible that I'm somehow swollen because they stabbed me so many times? Or because I had adjustments so close together? You would think it would have calmed down after two days. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
