I have been moderately to morbidly obese nearly all of my life but it really never slowed me down socially or financially the way I know it can. I hit my brick wall over health issues, and a forth-coming grandchild pushed me over the other side.
I really don't want to be a tired old lady who never moves from her easy chair, except to go to the kitchen.
Up until the past year, I've at least been a faithful dogwalker, but then an injury and the death of a beloved furkid derailed me mid-season, and I could not pull out of the funk and get moving again. In April, my youngest daughter announced that she was having a baby. By early May, I had my consultation. I had to See a nutritionist for 3 months, and have the usual barage of testing that everyone goes thru in order for insurance to pay. Two weeks ago, I got my surgery date, diet instructions, etc. Here I sit, 2 short weeks from surgery. I am excited to see what the future holds in store for me!
