Sounds like you have everything under control. Fathers are wonderful men in their daughter's lives, usually. Yours sounds like it. ​If you find sipping hard, Popsicles or suck on ice chips, those are fine. I had a lot of Popsicles. I still have them everyday.

Terry, you're doing super and it shows. I couldn't ride a bike for as long as you do. I have not lost any weight in a long time and I am fine with the numbers as long as the clothes' sizes go down and they are slowly.

​I am happy to hear you're feeling better. Each time you have surgery it is like a shock to your body. I have had about 12 surgeries so far. But I heal well which helps. Relax and let others wait on you and enjoy the rest.

I just foumd this. Where have I been? A penis does not care what shape , size , or color or how many teeth you have. They only care about themselves. A woman cares about everything. She wants flowers, jewelry, the words I love you! That is the difference between a penis and a real woman.

I went to the hospital to learn about the different types of WLS and brought my husband. I go to the support meetings every month and he comes with me. Would/will your husband do that with you? I did the Protein shake for Breakfast for 4-5 months before the band and lost about 25 lbs. I hate breakfast foods so I have a shake every day. Good luck with your journey.

I love to shop for clothes, even if it's window shopping. Where I live in MA we have outlet stores about 30-45 minutes away and my husband is a people watcher. Perfect match! So today we went, the temp in Boston was around 60. I went into the Donna Karen store and they were selling daisy dukes. Can you picture us former over weight women in those with our Shar Pei thighs? Great picture, men. I just thought that was funny and I need humor. I did go to the Jones NY store and bought some 't's for $7. each and bought some for Mother's Day gifts, too. I love that store. I was good today, my husband wouldn't let me into the Godiva store, OMG! I love their dark chocolates and yes, I do eat them. Happy shopping, ladies and men. Arlene

Congratulations!!!!!! Some people don't get on the scale except in their doctor's office. Then there is me who weighs them self toooo many times a day. My advice, don't get hooked on a number, get hooked on smaller size clothes. The smaller size clothes are super.

Sometimes weight doesn't come off but the inches do. I have noticed that with me and others have said it, too. Good for you walking 1 hour a day. I wish I did, but I like destinations, I am weird like that.

Once I did see one on a web site but don't recall and it was not cheap, maybe $20-$30.
