Post Op Morning Blues
Webtrekker replied to phoenixgen2's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I felt that way, had my surgery june 4th. I was so tired people at work would comment on it. That I looked about ready to faint. Had the water nausea too. what went down came back up. Once your body adjusts and you keep getting the vitamins in and the protein It will pass and you will begin to feel much better. -

I suggest taking a picture. I think you will be able to see how you really look in it as opposed to the mirror. It's hard to get over the sizes issue. -

Fears And Cheers...confused Feelings
Webtrekker replied to jacksmommy719's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I decided i wanted to get surgery a year ago. My Insurance had me take the options classes. After every class I decided I wasn't going to do it. then I would change my mind and be all for it. It was a roller coaster ride from hell, but I decided that living the way I was wasn't living and I needed to do this for me. I was still nervous when I was in the pre-op room. If you aren't nervous you should be it's major surgery. Just know everything will comeout right and you will be on the road to your new and exciting life. -

Why Are/were You Fat?
Webtrekker replied to Gastricsleeve4me's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was at a good weight until a car accident that left me unable to walk for six years due to back injuries. I raised two daughters from bed with them coming in after school to tell me how their day had gone. My only friend all those years was food. It took 13 years and three major surgeries along with about 150 minor procedures for me to be able to walk and lead a "normal" life again. That time I spent alone and although I never thought of myself as depressed I don't know what else you could have called it. A year ago I decided I needed to do something. I can't exercise because of my back. I needed to get the weight off. New insurance company at work and the sleeve was covered. it's been a month and a half and I can already feel the difference in my body and my mind. -
