Its fine every once In a while but I swear at work every day I see someone that hasn't seem me I'm a while asking me how much I've lost. I'm over it -

Stretch Marks&&scars?!
bubles089 replied to wnicoleb's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got stretch marks at 18 when I was 190! I have been using biooil, it's helped a little but only a little. I would love to find something because I'm only 27 and really don't want baggy skin! My highest was 240 -
So over the past 4 days I have had horrible dizzy spells when I stand up. I am well hydrated and eating all my protein. It's really bad when I get home from the gym. Yesterday I almost blacked out, I saw black spots and fell over. I am contacting my doctor tomorrow but I'm really freaked. Today it hasn't been that bad, but at least half the time when I stand I have to hold on to something. It's also when I lean over. It's worried because my job is a lot of leaning over. If I pass out at work it will be mortifying.

No I have never has Bp issues, my preop base line was 120/70, I don't have a machine at home to check it but I do at work.

Calling All Nurses.....
bubles089 replied to lexnurse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am a respiratory therapist mostly in a very very busy Ed. I keep a premier shake in the Ed all the time. I am 2 months out now and tonight's the first night I have really had a dehydration issue. I worked the past 36 hr due to the hurricane and felt like death. I got about 20 oz in the past 2 days of water so before I left I had a rn put an iv in and am currently giving my self a liter. I took off 1 month before going back to work and in the beginning my energy levels were a big issue. Milk is another thing I use to help with protein. I also told the doctors and people I work with because they really support me and make sure I am taking care of my self, I am the type of person I won't stop till everything is done and i pass out. -
I was sleeved on 8/28 and still can barley eat anything!!! I am so frustrated! I'm doing yogurt and shakes. Today I ordered out with some friends so I got pho and could eat like 4 bites. Even the broth made my stomach hurt! I didn't put any of the spice in it. I can eat about a 1 oz of lunch meat. any help??of
-
I can tolerate some solid food but in like crazy small amounts like less the am oz of lunch meat. Last night I tried pho And couldn't get much in. I have lost 36 lbs so far. My nut said I may just be a slower adjuster then most. It's just frustrating because I want to return to a normal life and I can't because I feel like I'm still eating like a geriatric!!!

I'm the opposite , I didn't have one for 5 yrs due to my birth control but I'm 2 months post op and I have has 4 already!

This Is A Disgusting Post, Please Only Readif You're Ok With Explicit Fces Talk!
bubles089 replied to slimshadee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a similar but not nearly as bad experience. In am 8 weeks post op and get dehydrated frequently because of my job. The other day at work I felt like I had to go and I hadn't for 4 days. I was in sooo much pain!! I have never had intestinal cramps like that. I sat in the bathroom for over an hour at work!, I got horribly nauseous and had to call my coworker to bring me my bag because I needed a zofran. The second the zofran was under my tongue I started to throw up. Once I finally passed the rock I had horrible diarrhea. It was really embarrassing and luckily the people I was working with that day are my closer friends at work. I work in a hospital so my" bathroom time" is very limited because I cover an Ed and 3 floors for all emergencies and respiratory issues. It was one of the worst post sleeve experiences I have had. I find the farther out I am the more unpleasant experiences I'm having. Like waking up and dry heaving for 20 mins or randomly throwing up my shake at a gas station on the way to work. -
Anyone else wake up every morning with horrible nausea?? I take prilosec every day. But when I wake up my stomach so sour!! It's hard to get breakfast in. Somedays I have to take a zofran. Anyone else have this problem???

Tmj Before Surgery
bubles089 replied to bandalyons83's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have very bad Tmj. I have already had 2 surgerys on it and I'm only 27. I am 5 weeks post op and haven't noticed any difference. The chewing of the food a lot sometimes hurts it. I am hoping over time it will feel better. Im going to try grind care. It looks like it helps a lot. I also have to take flexerol some times, if it gets bad I go to the walk in clinic and get a torridal shot. You should see a malixilary surgeon, -

What Are Sleevers Eating 5-6 Weeks Out
bubles089 replied to lvnvmom1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 6 weeks out and my stomach still can't handle much! I was told 2 weeks ago I was ok to eat anything but I haven't been able to. I still do shakes, yogurt, pudding with protien and soups. Lots of soups! For a snack I do a laughing cow cheese with 5 special k cracker chips. I try to stick to all very soft food. -

Vsg & Hypo Thyroid
bubles089 replied to ChristyLove's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been battling with hoshimotos for 8 yrs now, for the longest time I was told I was lying about how much I was eating as I gained weight. Finally they figured it out thanks to my gyn. My endocrinologist told me synthroid is part function based and part weight based for dosage. I am on 200 now. Your tsh can be normally but other thyroid functions can be off. Tsh is the thyroid stimulatting hormone. There is free t4 and t3 that can be off. Tsh is released by your pituitary land and the hormone stimulates your thyroid to release t3,t4. So you can have normal levels of tsh but low of the t3,t4 which regulates your metabolism. -
I went from not having one because of my birth control to getting 3 in 5 weeks but the first one lasted a week the past 2 have only lasted 2 days

7 Months Now, Slowest Losing Ever
bubles089 replied to momof4's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Have they checked your thyroid like done an entire panel not just a t4? For years I was exhausted all the time and unable to lose anything, turns out I had an autoimmune disease killing my thyroid. It took my gyn to figure it out the pcp didnt. Ask for a full thyroid pannel to make sure it's working alright bc if it isn't it knocks your metabolism way down -
So I am 4 1/2 weeks post op and just got my 3rd period. I am on implanon and didn't get one for 5 years prior to getting sleeved. Has anyone else had this experience? If so how long does it last? Should I expect one ever month now or will It eventually go away? Each one my cramps get worse and I'm afraid they will get as bad as they use to be! Since we can't take ibuprofen I don't know what to do! I use to take 800mg every 4-6 hrs when they got bad and that barely took care of them!
