Hi Girlz, Meredith you are doing really well with your weight loss.:clap2: Bronni I had two mri's in 2003, one of the spinal cord one of the brain. Most of my lesions are in my spinal cord and some in the brain. My neuro told me that you can average six or more per year. I really should be on treatment and should be having repeat scanning, but I am really claustrophobic and have to take xanax to get me in the scanner! I also avoid my neuro as he is upset with me about my weight, and I don't want to be put through the ringer about it. I just see him when I have attacks! Last one last year, they gave me iv methyl pred and i got over it. I am stable now and ready for this banding shananigans.:biggrin1: Susannah

Hey Bron, you very well may not have to have a sleep study. I hated having mine done. I was so miserable and uncomfortable connected up to a million wires and electrodes. Took me ages to fall asleep. What is everybody's goal weight/size they want to be. For me I just want to be a size 16. I am a 26 now. Ten years ago I weighed a lot less and was a 16. It looked nice on me. I will never be skinny, skinny. It must be my Eastern European heritage coming out. Eating is a big part of Jewish culture. :biggrin1: Susannah

Hey, One week to go from tomorrow. I am feeling a bit nervous to be honest. I am looking forward to losing the weight, and all the doors I hope that will open up for me. You won't be far behind me Bronnie. Susannah

Hey All, now I just have to work out how to download a chicken tikka, you know one of those things that tracks your weight loss. I tried www.tickerfactory.com but do you think I could do it? No.:biggrin1: Susannah

Hi All, Hope you don't mind an Aussie interloper chiming in here! I am day 14 on 21 days of Optifast. It was hard the first week, but I have found my body has adjusted. I am now not as hungry and dreaming of peanut butter sandwiches.:biggrin1: I love the chocolate shake with chilled water and blended ice cubes. It helps that it is summer in Australia. The vanilla shake is ok with cinnamon and nutmeg added. Good on you all. Susannah

Hi All, good on ya all!:biggrin1: Hey Baby I am on 3 weeks of Optifast! :biggrin1: Nearly there! Susannah
-
Hey Bron, Your pic is really nice. Last night I tried some miso soup. It was revolting, I nearly hurled. That is one extra that you can have on the Optifast program. Yuk. Susannah

Hey, Shall check out your pics Meredith. My eyes look so squishy in this photo! I did warn you all it wasn't a pretty sight! Susannah

Hi, How do you download a photo for your avatar? Thought you may like to see who you are talking to. Warning it's not a pretty sight! :biggrin1: Susannah

Hi Girls, Sorry to hear about the job Bron. You just wait, you will show them but good!!! I had a bad day yeaterday. I felt so shakey and weak. A combination of having MS and being on the liquid diet. I am doing well with it , I am a little bit proud of myself . I am definately getting a boob job down the track. More money to save I guess. Susannah

Hi Bronnie, I need your advice. I think that I will take some appetite surpressants to help me during the pre op diet. Do you think I should do it? My GP is away at the moment so I need some advice. Are any of them available over the counter? Everyone else feel free to chime in here if you have any feedback. Thanks so much. Susannah

Hey Meredith, my brother and I were in Canberra last year and I thought what a great idea it would be to cruise Lake Burley Griffin in August! It was bloody freezing, but we sat up top of the cruiser and laughed and had fun!:biggrin1: Susannah
-
Hey, I reckon Bronnie is going to give her surgeon the date that she wants! Yesterday!!!!!:biggrin1: Susannah
-
Hi All, Bronnie I chose my surgery date. My surgeon's secretary just opened up his diary and told me he operates on Fridays and to pick any date I wanted. Susannah
-
Hey Wanna Be Thin, it feels good to have control over food doesn't it!!! I am also on the liquid diet and am feeling less hungry now than I did at the start.:hungry: :biggrin1: Susannah
-
Hey, I am so glad that I just finished my period. One less thing to have to deal with on surgery day. That is actually a legitimate thing to think about when scheduling a date for the operation. If you can plan it around when you don't have it, or manipulate it's arrival then you will feel much happier to be sure! Susannah

Gday. I am getting banded in less than 2 weeks. I have Multiple Sclerosis which is a disease of the nervous system. Funnily enough I do not have high blood pressure, high blood sugar or any other problems. Susannah

Gday gals, Welcome She Smiles!!!! Jacqui well done on schlepping the Water outside. People actually dob others in? What is this the Salem witch hunt? It is vital that we all cut down our usage, but I am getting a bit ticked of with the hounding going on. Private usage is actually way, way less than industry and Government usage! Banding update: The hospital called me this morning to go over my admission forms, and to give me a rundown on what will be happening from start to finish. Yay I get to wear the paper undies! It's all happening.:biggrin1: Susannah

Hi All, I am getting banded on 02/02/07. I absolutely love bread and feel depressed at the thought of not being able to eat it anymore. I could care less about giving up chocolate, fast food etc, but bread? Not even one slice a day? Susannah
-
Hi Jacqui, I love muffins also!:biggrin1: At least I will be able to have a slice of toast. That is enough for me. Susannah

Hi All, I am looking for an guy older than myself ,(36) who is a happy, sensitive and caring person. I do not need a control freak or someone who is angry all the time. I don't know that marriage is really my thing, but I want to have a baby/babies and live with a life partner. Don't know if my perfect guy is even out there. Susannah -
Hi, Imho means, In my humble opinion. Susannah
