Hey Bron, Was I right with all my predictions? Susannah
-
Hi, We have to do the info night, read heaps of literature that includes detailed info on diet, pre and post banding, physician, 2 consults with the surgeon, dietician post op. I had a sleep study also. How can I work out what my weight should be before I see the dietician? My height is 166. Susannah
-
Hey Bron, Great stuff.:biggrin1: My surgeon didn't discuss my goal weight with me. I think he leaves that to the dietician. I have given myself the goal of 75 kgs, but it may actually need to be 70 kgs. Dietician will tell me when I see her soon I guess. Susannah

Hey Astrotoes, Thanks for the welcome. My anasthetist also left me pretty bruised also. I have really bad veins to put any kind of IV into. I would make a terrible junkie!:biggrin1: Susannah
-
Hey Bron, You can start posting on the March 2007 bandsters thread on the main board now. The time pre op will fly by. I am really happy for you. Susannah
-
Hey, Looks like I was right on my time line prediction!:biggrin1: Yay! That is no time at all. Susannah

Hey, Thanks for the tip. Man I love Starbucks! My mouth is watering thinking about it right now. Is Grande a bit big of a size to drink though? I drink the tall size which is the smallest one. Susannah

Hi Canadian Feb bandsters, I was banded on 2/2/07 in Melbourne Australia. I was two days in hospital because I had a bit of a rough time with the anasthetic. I am ten days out now, and feeling better by the day. My port incision is giving me a bit of pain, but I guess that is to be expected. Susannah

Hey M, We would also lose that much if we had Sgt Kickass riding us for four hours a day. Where is Bron??????????? Susannah

Hi J, This is a side topic, but I just went to your site and saw a picture of your daughter. She is a dolly!:biggrin1: Do you plan to adopt another child? Susannah -
Hey, I work in childcare. :biggrin1: I know, I know I've got rocks in my head! I actually love children a lot and really enjoy my job. I think I will enjoy it more when the weight comes off and I don't feel so wretched at the end of each day! I will not be doing any heavy lifting of any kind for a further two weeks after I get back to work. I have not really been watching much telly up here to be honest, except for The Biggest Loser. I have been reading, and surfing the net mainly. Susannah

Hey All, I am going back to work next week, after having the required two weeks off. I won't have time to be as prolific a poster as I have been while off work, but I will pop in as much as I can. Don't worry about that!:biggrin1: My other sister Rebecca does not think I should go back to work for a further two weeks. I asked her who did she think was paying the bills? She offered to pay a months rent for me if I wanted to stay another two weeks at home. I find that I can't accept that. I am a very stubborn and independent person. Susannah

Hey Meredith, Maybe she did or didn't notice, the main thing is that you feel good and your man Joe thinks your a smokin hot mama! Susannah

"Boob Guy" - What is the deal with men and big breasts?
susannah replied to TexasRose's topic in The Lounge
Hi Texas Rose, I have got big boobs, and I find them to be cumbersome and annoying to be honest. I want to have a reduction badly. I can't understand the fascination either. As soon as I can afford it I will be getting a reduction. Susannah -
Gday, Its official. Jack's got the nod for the top office!:biggrin1: Susannah
-
Gday, Yay Bronnie your appointment day has dawned!:biggrin1: Can't wait to hear the good oil from your surgeon! Susannah

Hey D, We all struggle with our longing for food. I know for myself this process will go on for the rest of my life. I am a food addict, and that is not something that will ever go away. What I can do is be accountable for my actions daily, and recommit daily to eating healthily, and to taking care of myself. Now while you're at it can you have some spaghetti and meatballs for me?!!!!! LOL!:biggrin1: Susannah

Hey Kat, In Australia restaurants are now not allowed to let you take doggy bags home because of health and safety food regulations etc. Ahhh! Bloody rules and regs! If I wanna get food poisoning taking some food home I bloody well will!:biggrin1: Susannah

Hi D, I am feeling a bit better each day. I was supposed to take off the dressings tomorrow, but some of them were starting to fall off today. My sister went ahead and took them off and cleaned them. Four of the scars are very little, and the port scar is about an inch long. I have stretch marks bigger than some of those scars!:biggrin1: My surgeon did a terrific job! I am allowed to have a bath from tomorrow. I take showers for general washing and baths for pampering and relaxation etc. It is a replacement for the pleasure of eating I think. How is the weather up in QLD? Susannah

Hi Dorin, I don't think you are criticzing the American system or Americans as being spoiled, I can hear the frustration towards the Romainian system more so in your words. My grandparents came to Australia from Hungary, and I feel very grateful to have been born here, as we do have both a private and a public system that is of a very high standard. If I was living in Hungary I could possibly have ended up in the same situation as you. Susannah:confused:

Gday Trish, 70 pounds lost is terrific!:biggrin1: that is pounds lost and not gained, so I would say you are going great guns!!! Susannah
