OMG...I can sooo relate to this post! Just finished Alex's book and realized I am my worst obstacle. Wish I had the book before I was banded. I am making a new resolve when I get filled on the 16th to start a new path. It felt so good to see others have been on my path and are changing their ways too! Awesome topic. Tami -

I had surgery 11/29/12 and have had a rough year. I just finished reading the book by Alex and I sooooo wish I had read this BEFORE my surgery! I have been my worse obstacle...bad food choices, lack of knowledge, lack of support, lack of exercise. I have been unfilled three times this year and finally get to be filled again on the 16th. I am determined to make this work and with the help of this site and the book I know I can do it I am located in Washington State.

How awesome! I am over 6 months out and only down 30 lbs.... struggling with finding the right food combinations. Way to go!!!
