Oh YAY pammy! CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF YOU!!!

Good morning! Gorgeous day here. Sunny but a little chilly. Last night I went home and just snuggled on the couch with juan and watched american idol. Today I plan on doing some light cleaning and some laundry. This sun just gives me energy!

I hope to be just as lucky as laura and at least keep my child with me the first year. We will have to see what happens. I can't see aylas pic because I'm posting from my phone. This website was banned again at my work. Sucks. I am eating my lunch. Tuna casserole.

I'm jealous too judy! Its so nasty here today. Rainy and freezing cold. I am so sick of the cold. I feel like I have the winter blues. All I ever want to do is go home and get under the covers... this is the longest winter we've had. And I don't mean to be bitching to y'all about mesely 40 degree weather when 1/2 of y'all have it so much worse but its just that we are not used to it. I need sunshine dammit. And heat and humidity... I've just been feeling so blah lately... Anyways, enough grumbles. Currently I'm trying to decide whether to buy a kindle or a sony reader. Anyone heard anything good about the sony?

awwww, how cute is he! we need a video of him signing puppy. i first I read it as singing, LOL... Carson is growing up way too fast! jane - I call my dad "daddy" and always will! He's my daddy! How is it my fault that the word "daddy" has some bad connotations associated with it? We are spoiled rotten, as I am aware you are too and we are just daddy's girls...

Oh I see. That's a good point. I thought I would be ok until the age of 2 too! We will see what happens!

My sister Erika was at La Petit academy for years when she was little. Staff was always wonderful and she loved it there. I think she went from like 4-9 years old. But it would depend so much on the staff... Why are you doing day-care? I'm planning on following your plan when I have my first and I need to know what to expect! Ugly dreadry day here... Cold cold cold. And it's supposed to get colder! I'm so ready for sunshine! YAY on the piehole reports everyone! Everyone is doing great! I'll have to try those yogurts Laura, I see them in the store. I need to do better on portion control. If something is so good I try to get EVERYTHING down my gullet... Not good...

I LOVED that video of Carson. Me and Juan watched it over and over again last night. I will def. steal it and put it on my wall today... I haven't seen the boy in the stiped pajamas. Will try to catch it soon... I'm am so glad its FRIDAY! I'm meeting a friend for lunch in a bit... then going to go watch Shutter Island tonight. Leo is my boyfriend and I just love him... He is so hot! Everyone have a GREAT WEEKEND. I am working Sunday almost all day on wedding stuff but will be off tomorrow and catching up with laundry and household chores... Love ya'll!

the place we go to is actually not too expensive. i'll ask my dad for the breakdown and that might be somewhere we should consider going to. it's great for families, hint hint... very secluded. away from all the stress. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new carson pic... He is such a cutie... michelle - keeping your MIL in my prayers...

Oh suzy, that's so good of you! I meant to get to the gym yesterday but then my mother in law called me and told me that she need a report from me ASAP so I had to get home to do it. This was after putting in a 12 hour work day. I was up until 1am working on that. Everyone is doing so good with the pieholes today. So far today I've had one cup of coffee with creamer only. Then for lunch I had pho ga. Vietnamese chicken noddle soup. I ate like 4 spoonfuls of the rice noddles. Mostly the chicken and the broth. I have church tonight and when I wipe my ashes off my forehead I will use a little piece of fabric and then put that little piece up on the fridge. Like Judy I will use it to remind me of a much bigger sacrifice than sweets and junk... Pam! I'm sure you'll be wonderful teef or no teef... Oh I would so love a pic right now! Michelle - poor you. Poor kids. I'm sure everyone is sick of everyone. But on the plus side all that snow make everything look like a fairytale! Laura - has the snow stopped where you're at? Janey - we are going on our annual family trip to Isla Navidad. Isla Navidad Hotel - Wyndham Isla Navidad Resort Hotel Reservations It's paradise there and we just love it. Have been going for the past 4 years. We always try to get the same room. They treat us like family there... ack. It's already 4:30! I have to get moving. I don't want to stay late today. Oh I had to take my dog to the vet today for a little rash on his back. Turns out it's Dimadex which is mites they get from their momma. My dog is 10 years old not a puppy and it's been dormant all this time! So the treatment is pretty harsh and it will get alot worse before it gets better. Not looking forward to this!

i'm fat year round too, LOL! thanks michelle. i just really want march 11th to get here. once i step on that plane all my troubles will be left behind... I'm not taking my phone or my laptop or anything. OH and Juan said he was going to buy me a Kindle for the trip. I've been so stressed lately and he really has been such a big help and such a source of comfort for me.

i'm giving up coke for lent. coke and slothfullness.... sigh. today i'm having my last coke... laura - i don't see why it wouldn't work. the only problem i can foresee happening is that it might not rise as high as you need it and instead be a little bit more dense rather than fluffy. I think they might make those cake mixes with a pre-determined amount of leveling powder so that it rises about the size of an average pan. Again this is just me thinking out loud... Michelle i think might know.

oh and I forgot to say WAY TO GO MO!! GO GO GO, KEEP POOPING! and I also forgot to say how utterly lovely your home is michelle. Looks like it's straight out of a postcard. What else did I read and forget to comment on?? Oh my pammy! Glad to hear you are in escrow! No so glad to hear ya'll have been bickering... It happens though and glad to hear it doesn't last with ya'll... Oh and Judy - I miss your hot tub tales, LOL... You hardly use it anymore!

Laura - I hate when something out of my control affects my work. I hate hate hate that. Nowhere near as important as your deal but it happens all the time at the wedding place. One time they put these horrid table cloths down with no seam for an event that i was having. I told them they looked horrible and had no seams but they just said, OH well, hopefully the bride won't notice. UGH, makes me so frustrated. Judy! So scary about Ethan but glad he's ok. And that statistic was funny! I'll make sure my parents have the poison control center on speed dial at their house too! Michelle - that hat you made was so cool! I'm sure your son loved it. It looks so warm and yet fashionable! Jane - I'm so glad you are still sticking with this and not giving up. You make me not want to give up! Sometimes I just say, well, my body wants to be at 250 and I might as well just resign myself to that. And then I come on and hear how everyone is just plug plug plugging along and it makes me want to do it too. I'm drinking my water right now and will hit the gym tonight when I get home. Laura - aww that picture is one of my favorites. His face is like sunshine. And WAY TO GO on your food diary. You are doing awesome! Heather - I want to get a flip too! I love it now that I know how easy it is to work... We need updated Ayla pics, haven't seen her in a bit... My head is pounding right now. I ran out of tylenol so I had to take two advil. I don't know what's making it hurt so bad. Oh and I haven't been sleeping so great lately with everything going on. I really need to just shut my brain off but I can't! In my head I'm thinking about all I need to do at work, and then with the upcoming weddings, then with my own wedding. Can anyone recommend a safe, non addicting sleeping pill that won't leave me groggy in the morning? I think I need to take them for the next few weeks. Just until my spring break. After spring break I think it will be better. Everything will fianally start coming together...

Good morning my sweet Violets. It's a new week and I have a new attitude right now. I was in such a funk last week because things going on at work, things going on at the wedding venue, things going on with my wedding. Blah. It was just heck. So. My boss that was "let go". Yeah, he would have been fired eventually. He was half assing everything. Well not even half assing. 1/4 assing. All our accounts are crazy messed up. And I'm getting blamed for crap that I didnt even do! And so last week we brought in some really expensive tax accountants to go through our accounts and "fix" or try to fix things. So I worked like 50 hours last week. Then on top of that I had appointments at the bed and breakfast to sign contracts. And these brides get testy if you can't meet with them RIGHT away. And I was not in any mood to go and be happy and chipper for them after what I was going through at work... AND THEN, we've been battling with the county people on the permits we need for the venue that we are building. We finally got that resolved though and we resume construction in the next few weeks. I gotta go back to work for now. I didn't have time to catch up with everyone but I will. Love you all...

aww michelle, sending you some big hugs. My heart belongs to my fur babies so I know how much turmoil you are going through right now. I hope the new medicine helps him so that this doesn't keep occurring. Does the vet have any idea why this happens to him so much? Poor poor Mo... Big hugs and kisses to his sweet sweet face... Laura - aww that child just tugs at my heart strings everytime I see his cutie pie face. I can't believe how big he's gotten since we last saw him. I wish you could bring him with you in May! Judy - sorry about your lost post. That's happened to me before and it sucks! I try not to make too many Desserts either. Me and Juan both have sweet tooths and we would probably finish them all! Jane - woo hoo! That's a good sign that got a dress. I hope you are able to make it here! Well today I had my last appointment with the caterers. And lo and behold we liked the $5000 caterer the best. Big surprise! So anyways, we went ahead and booked with them. ONE BIG CHECK OFF MY LIST! I'm so so so excited. Oh and I booked the group for the cocktail hour too! Nice latin jazz trio. We paid for the honeymoon this weekend too. Needless to say we are eating ramen Soup for the next few months, LOL... We are off to church now. There is a parish wide adoration that we are doing this week every night from 7-8pm. Everyone have a great night!

Oh so sorry for all the violets with snow right now. Double sorry for Michelle, having to deal with snow and with poor Mo. I hope he gets to feeling better... How old is he? Laura - when we had a little bit of a flurry here in Houston a couple of weeks ago everyone was going nuts. We are not used to anything but water falling from the sky. Post another vid of Carson. I miss his little face... Are you off from work today too? Pammy - good thinking on questioning about the hill. I would have never thought to ask about that... I can't believe you guys get up at 6:30 on your days off! Hope everything goes well today with the mortgage people. Judy - that dessert you made sounded so good! I ate way too much yesterday... Janey - How far are you from me?? I would love to open my door to see you there! I'm glad you're not getting that much snow over there... How's your day off going? My favorite commercial from last night was the careerbuilder commercial where everyone is walking around in their underpants. That was hilarious... The lady with the nude bra and nude granny panties, that was exactly what I was wearing under my clothes, LOL. The other cute one was the pony and the calf one... There were some where I was like, what was the point of that??

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to you!! (insert dancincing smileys here, too lazy to go look for them...) yeah, that was the $3000 dollar caterer. The $5000 one is on monday... we will see... aaaahhhh, it's Friday. tons of work to do here but I'll be so glad when it's 5pm. what's everyone up to this weekend? who are ya'll rooting for??

ugh. that caterer was so bad... dry dry beef tips and dry dry chicken. So gross... It's sitting in my pouch and it hurts so bad... I'm gonna go run around now and try to get it to go down...

oh noes!! why the crying??? if you don't think you are ready for it then why not wait?? Maybe you feel like you are rushing into it and need to slow down?? anyhoo... I'm going for a catering sample tonight. A potential caterer. I want to know what the difference is between the $3000 quote caterer and the $5000 caterer. They are both providing the exact same stuff and they each quoted me very different prices... weird...

buuuut, at the same time I now get where my mom was coming from. What her reasoning was that stuff like that was done to beautify oneself for boys and I shouldn't be trying to do that yet. She said I had the rest of my life to worry about waxing and plucking... again, at 13 I would just roll my eyes. But now I do get it. I would want my litle girl to stay a little girl as long as possible too. So what's a mother to do?? Mother's have the hardest jobs...

ugh, in my house too. It was such a huge deal... I got in so much trouble for using the razor on my legs when I was 13. I wasn't allowed to shave until I was 15. Same for plucking my unibrow. Makeup. Painted nails. It was a fight fight fight each time. BUT this was only for me! My little sister erika started shaving when she was like 11 and wearing makeup at 12 or 13, can't remember. They didn't care by then, LOL.

oh michelle, i cracked up laughing! I need to print that out and frame it and put it up on my wall, LOL... Pammy - sending you lots of good luck vibes and I am sure everything will go so good for you! You will adjust, everyone does! How many new purses does one REALLY need??? LOL! Love you! Janey! I loved your dream! I can't believe they tried to make you pay a cover charge! How rude!!! And how nice of Susanne to try to help you! She's so sweet like that in real life. You will love her! And yes, my mom will love you just like in the dream! Can't wait until it's reality! well except for the getting lost part and the not seeing any of the violets part and the getting charged part, LOL... Oh and I am so freezing today! I'm just so so smart that I decided to wear little flats with my jeans today and NO SOCKS. NOT A GOOD IDEA. My feet are one big popsicle now...
