I just finished eating my chili. It was really good. I make it with turkey now and it's so yummy. Janie - the bump on my tongue was a bite on my tongue that had "overhealed". The doctor said that my tongue had zealously healed on the wound and the "healing" had just kept growing. Weird, i don't know if I explained it clearly... But they sent it in to the lab just to make sure it was malignant and it was. Thanks for asking! Oh Terry, I won't be able to join you and Josie for dinner tomorrow night. We are going to leave for Mexico in the morning. Ya'll have a good time! I read on another post where a bandster that weighs 269 is wearing size 18 pants. Waahhhh... I wanna cry. My bottom half isn't shrinking. I'm in a tight 20 right now. I'm gonna go clean the kitchen now... Everyone have a good night...

Well Violets. I was at 246 again this morning. I won't change my ticker unless i'm there tomorrow too. I'm also getting sick. I have alot of "discharge" in my throat and nose. Not really feeling sicky-poo but I'm getting there. So then that means that I'm truly not restricted because when you're sick your band gets tight and I'm not tight at all. I'm gonna call my doctor tomorrow so I can go back in next week. Has anyone read My Sister's Keeper? It's a really good book. Just finished it last week and I can't get it off my mind... Tracy - Good luck on your fill today! Laura - I last 15 seconds on the elliptical. And then I feel like my limbs are made of jello when I get off. I don't know how people can do it for an hour. Well, I might get there one day! Pam - I hope you start to feel better now that you're on antibiotics. I think you got me sick. Stop blowing kisses at me...

Tracy:faint: I can't believe you GAVE away your Garth Brooks tickets. You are truly a good wife and mother. If it had been me I would have left my child and my husband with a babysitter and ran all the way to the concert. I LOOOVVVVEE Garth. I've only had one chance to see him in person but OMG, what a show. You deserve MOM OF THE YEAR.

Angie - I've also had four fills. My last one was just on Saturday and I was on here complaining that it wasn't tight enough. I don't feel alot of restriction. I might have to go see my doctor again so she can give me a teensy bit more. I'm actually down to 246 but I'm not claiming it yet because I have to be that weight for at least 3 days before I change my ticker, LOL!

Jenn - Bad news :confused: We cancelled our trip to New York. We were going to go celebrate my dad's birthday there but now it turns out that my grandmother is going to need additional surgery on her hip so we are going to Mexico instead to be with her. I was looking so forward to seeing you! C'est la vie...

Tracy - The concert was great!! Jennifer Lopez is definetly pregnant. At about 6 months I think. She wore these cute baby-doll style muu muu's all night. She changed four times and each time it was a muu muu. She wore tight biker shorts underneath these tops so when she danced her little muu muu would fly up and you could see her bump. She put on an amazing show though. She wore stilletos the whole time and she danced just as much as ever. We had so much fun!

Hi girls!! Sorry I've been so busy. End of year is also busy for us too here at work. I took off on Thursday and Friday though, I know, I'm so bad. My cousin came in from out of town and I hardly ever get to hang out with her. We went shopping and shopping and more shopping. I love garage sales and flea markets so that's pretty much all we did all weekend long. I had a fill Saturday morning. The doctor stared putting in 1.5 cc's in my band. She had me drink that yucky stuff and counted to see how long it took to drain into my stomach. She said it was too tight and took out some out. I was dissapointed to say the least but she knows best. I was on liquids on Saturday, mushies on Sunday and today was back to regular food. So far I'm doing ok. Why do I feel like I have to be super tight? That's not right or healthy but I seriously am thinking of calling her so that she can give me back the .5 that she took out. I know, I'm crazy. But damn, these fills are expensive and sigh, I've been on a plataeu for two months already. I did weight myself this morning and I'm down to 246 but I know the reason for that was because I was on restricted eating this weekend. I guess I'll see what happens in these next few days. I just fell like I've lost my determination. I was so into this a few months ago and now I feel like it's truly not going to work for me. It's like a vicious cycle. When I'm doing good, losing weight, I make good choices and excersise. Now that I haven't been losing I make bad choices and hardly ever excersise. I'm just in a funk.

Well tonight I won't be handing out candy to trick or treaters. My hunny got us tickets to the Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony concert for my birthday. I'm so excited!

My fill doctor just called and told me that there was a cancellation for this Saturday so she'll be able to see me. I'm getting a fill!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!! I'm so happy!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I've been reading how in everyone's neighborhood there used to be so many trick-or-treaters years ago and now the number has dwindled. I thought it was just in my area but it's happening across the country. Why do ya'll think that is? When I was little I remember all the houses would decorate and now I drive through the neighborhood where I grew up (my parents still live there) and you'll only see a few houses with decorations. Do ya'll think Halloween is in danger of becoming extinct? In like 10 years will I be telling my kiddos tales of this holiday called "Halloween" and they won't believe me? He he he... Just thoughts in my head this morning...

Another thing that I don't understand is when 12 year olds are begging for belly button piercings. I feel like a belly button piercing is for the purpose of attracting attention to your belly in a "sexy" manner. So when my 12 year old God-daughter is begging her mom for a belly button piercing I'd like to know who's attention is she trying to get at that age. Same goes with hi-lites in her hair. I just don't understand why a 12 year old is even concerned with appearing "attractive" or "sexy".

Girls, does anyone have an idea of what I could do with turkey lunch meat? I forgot that I had almost a full package of it and it expired yesterday. I need to use it all up tonight but have no idea what I can make with it. Remember that I've got no restriction so I can pretty much eat anything you throw out at me...

Kat - I can't imagine what you and Amanda must feel when Kinsey cries because she's in pain. Hope she starts to feel better soon.

Good morning ladies. Gosh, I’ve been so busy! Usually the end of the month is crazy for me because as soon as the month ends I have to compile all these reports to submit to the banks that hold all our loans. So I have to make sure that all expenses are in and allocated correctly. I know, I know, boring accounting stuff... But seriously I am really getting sick of my job. I just haven’t figured out what else I could do. I used to LOVE coming to work but lately I’ve been slacking off so bad because I don’t CARE anymore. That’s not good… for me or for my employer. AND I’m not losing any weight. Just thought I would also throw that in there. Okay, done with my rant. Michelle – You caught up to me girl! And you were banded almost three weeks after me!! You are doing so well! You should be so proud of yourself. Jane – I wanted to comment on what you said a few days ago. About how you felt guilty because the weight was coming off at first so easily. I felt the same way too! At the beginning each time I got on the scale I would see a lower number. Every couple of days...lower number. I felt so guilty because I really wasn’t doing much to warrant that. But now, now that I’m actually DIETING, the pounds are clinging to my body for dear life. I get so frustrated every time I step on the scale and the number is the same. UGH. The worst part is that my fill doctor doesn’t have an appointment until the 17th!! I’m considering going to another fill doctor. He doesn’t use flouro and that’s the only thing that is concerning me. I really don’t know how you ladies do it. The pushing and prodding when you’re trying to get filled. I didn’t know that that was the way it was done until I went back to my band doctor to get a fill. He pushed and prodded and pulled my stomach fat. Then stuck the needle in and WOW did that hurt. Okay now I’m rambling... Original question was should I just suck it up and go to a doctor that does fills without flouro? Terry – How’s your mom doing? Fight off the depression by coming here with us. We’ll cheer you up. Call me anytime, k? Denise – You look so good! Your double chin is gone for good! Panda – I love Lane Bryant jeans too! They make my booty look good. But as soon as I was able to fit into clothes at Sears, Macy’s or at JCPenny I vowed that I would never buy another thing from Lane Bryant. I feel like they are price gougers. They know that plus size women don’t have hardly any choices when it comes to buying stylish clothes in their size so they jack up the prices. TracyK – Now what’s that comment that I read about you not liking your avatar? You looked beautiful in it! I vote you put it back up! TracyKs – How are the wedding plans coming? Anything new? My cousin is getting married next June and I just LOVE LOVE going with her to pick stuff out and helping her with her plans. Did ya’ll pick out the flavor of the cake yet? She wants something like chocolate chips in white cake with mango filling. Gross. I need to talk her out of it... Wait, unless that’s your flavor too, and then it’s a GREAT combination, LOL!! Pamela – I am a hair color virgin. I’ve never colored, or highlighted my hair! But now that I’m getting old I’m getting tons of gray hair. I will have to make the plunge soon. I couldn’t tell if your hair was still two shades though. I think I remember you saying that you part your hair and put one color on the bottom and one on top? Judy – I have 4 cc’s in a 10 cc band and I have absolutely no restriction. At my last fill my doctor only gave me .2 cc’s and the next day I was able to eat tortillas with no problem. It’s absolutely frustrating having to limit your intake and stay constantly hungry. If your husband’s restriction doesn’t change would it be possible for him to return for a higher fill before your cruise? Laura – LOVED your costume! You’re not going to be scaring anyone in that though. All the teenage boys are going to come knocking on your door more than once, once they see you in that! So I bought a new set of couches a few weeks ago. I’m already not liking them. I begged and pleaded with my boyfriend to get this really nice set of leather couches. Well now I’m having to yell at my dogs to stay off the couch because they’re going to scratch them up. That’s causing me a lot of tension because I’m not usually like that. So right now I have them all covered up in blankets and sheets. Nice huh? So now I want to get rid of them and my boyfriend is going to kill me. If you don’t hear from me in the next few days please come look for my body under the rose bushes...

I'm feeling alot better today. My tongue is only a little swollen on the left side now. I still can't talk right though so this is pretty much the only place that I can let my voice be heard today. Kat - the pharmacy I sent Juan to last night didn't have that anti-inflamatory stuff but I have been sucking on ice all day today. It really did help get the swelling down. TracyKs- gorgeous! Love your hair color too. It's such a beautiful color. Has everyone responded to our trip thread? Who is missing? Oh did anyone hear from Amanda? Ms. Jen - Was the weekend of the 16th gonna work for you? I don't remember if you said you were gonna be able to come... Terry - I wish I could have stayed home today!! It was gorgeous outside. I was in meetings all morning. We're about to cancel our big communications contract and we're trying to figure where we're going next...

I live down the road from Old Town Spring! Just over on the other side of 45. I love when Old Town Spring starts getting ready for Christmas. It's my favorite time of the year! Anytime is good for me too. I don't have kids so ya'll squeeze me into your schedule...

Sorry, couldn't go to bed without checking to see if Pam could go another weekend. I'm glad you can!! I can pretty much go anytime. I have a cousin getting married in June and I can't miss her wedding but that's about it. Thanks for the suggestion Kat. I'm gonna send Juan to the pharmacy to go get me some. My tongue is still throbbing and the only thing that the hydrocodone is doing is making me dizzy... goodnight again...

PAMELA, red is your color girl. You look stunning! Thanks Laura. My tongue started to hurt about an hour ago and I took half of one and drank alot of water. But I think I'm gonna go ahead and take the other half because the pain is coming back.

AUGH!!! Mother's Day is MAY 11th in 2008. I'm sure that'll be a deal breaker for alot of us. Pam, any other weekend?
